Why don’t they notice? Why can’t they see?
Her tears. Her scars. Her fear. Her pain.
She walks this world held up by only a thread.
Her laughs are lies. Her smiles are fake. It’s only a matter of time until she goes insane.
At school, she pretends she’s like everyone else. She makes decent grades. She talks to “friends.”
At home she sits curled on her bed and screams at the voices inside her head.
She feels as though her soul’s being beaten and drowned.
