When Selena Justice leaves the Winchester brothers because of Sam, she dated Sam through the years 2005-late 2007. She leaves just as she leaves when Ruby is with Sam, Dean always visits her. Dean and her start dating in 2009 when the apocalyse is on. She has her life she's wanted, two great nephews,Taylor and Nick, whose parents died and left her to care for them just a week after she had left the Winchester's.
