Pavement

Sitting in our stable, I loved our little ranch in the country. I was in my own world. That world was vibrant and green. The luscious trees home to the various birds and animals. Just then I saw him, little Leo. He ran across my field of vision and nuzzled against his mother. It’s hard to think a city is a few miles away. It’s hard to think that someone would have ruined such beauty to make buildings. It’s impossible to think that they’re trying to take my life just to build. Why would they take this away from me?
