Neighbors

The next day i got up and called my aunt and told her i had to quit the bakery because i had a new job that i started tommarow. My work schedule now was tuesday through friday, it was perfect. I took a shower and then put on a jean skirt and a polka dot shirt and sandels. I walked out to the kitchen to make breakfast and while i was cooking there was a nock on the door, i skipped over to it and opened it, it was Alex.

"Hey babe" he said

"Hey" i said

"So uhm, are you busy?" he asked coming in and shutting the door

"Nope, whats up?" i asked

"I need to ask you somthing" he said

"Alright, can we talk in the kitchen i have food cooking" i said

"Sure" he said and i nodded and we went to the kitchen

"So whats up?" i asked cooking

"Well i have to babysit tonight, and i was wondering if you'd help me" Alex said

"Yeah id love to, how old is the kid" i asked

"3, shes my cousins daughter Gracie" he said

"Okay!, i love kids" i said

"Great, is 7 good?" he asked

"Yeah its fine" i siad

"Okay thanks babe" he said

"Of course" i said and he kissed my cheek and he left

I spent the day with Melinda, we shopped for work clothes for me, walked around the mall and then went to the movies and had lunch after. We went back to my place and hungout for a while and then she left at 5. That night i went over to Alex's at 6:45, i knocked a few times and then he answered.

"Hey Sophie" he said letting me in

"Hey" i said

"So my cousin isnt here yet but she should be here soon" he said

"Alright" i said

A few minutes later there was a knock on the door, Alex answered the door and it was who i assumed to be his cousin and his cousins daughter.

"Hey guys!" Alex said

"Hey, thanks for watching Gracie tonight" his cousin said walking in with her daughter

"No problem, come with me i want you to meet my girlfriend" he said

"You have a girlfriend?!, aww Alex thats great" she said and they walked over to me

"Sophie this is my cousin Heidi and her daughter Gracie, Heidi and Gracie this is Sophie my girlfriend" Alex said introducing us to eachother

"Hey" she said and Gracie waved

"Hi" i said

"Well i better go, the party started a little while ago. I should be back by ten" she said

"Okay" he said

"Bye guys, bye Gracie" she said

"Bye mama" Gracie said and Heidi left

"So what do you wanna do?" he asked Gracie

"I dont no" Gracie said

"Wanna make ice cream sundaes?" he asked

"Yeah!" she said

"Lets go" he said picking her up and we went to the kitchen

Alex took out three bowls and scooped vanilla ice cream in each. Then he took out all the toppings he had, which were whipped cream, cherries, sprinkles and oreos even though there not really toppings we could still use them. He put Gracie on the counter and we all made our sundaes. I put cookies and whipped cream in mine, Gracie put whipped cream and cherrys in hers and Alex put everything in his.

"Mmmmm, yummy" i said

"You two bearly put anything on those sundaes!" Alex said picking up sprinkles and got ready to pour them on mine but i stopped him

"Dont you dare Alex" i said

"Fine, Gracie want some?" he asked

"No" she said eating a cherry

"Fine more for me!" he said pouring more on his sundae

"Babe lighten up on the sugar, you gonna get sick" i laughed

"Thats a risk im willing to take" he said
