Neighbors

I got up the next morning and got ready for my first day at work, i was excited but nervous. I showered quickly and put on my light purple scrubs. I made breakfast and then went to work. My work day was okay, it was very busy, i had assisted the doctor with many patients. After work i went to go home and went to my apartment and changed and then went over to Alex's. I knocked on the door and Alex opened the door.

"Hey babe!" Alex said

"Hey" i said kissing him

"How was work?" he asked

"It was good" i said

"Good im glad. Come on in, Jacks here" he said

"Okay" i said walking in and we went to the livingroom

"Hey Sophie!" Jack said

"Hey" i said sitting next to him

"So i heard today was your first day of work, how was it?" Jack asked

"Good" i said

"Did you handle any needles?" he asked

"A lot" i said nervous, i hate needles

"Eek i could never do that" he said

"Yeah" i said

"So, who wants to go bowling?. I'll call Zack and Rain and Sophie you can call Melinda" Alex said

"Sure" me and Jack said

"Okay cool" Alex said

I called Melinda and she said she'd go. Alex called Zack and Rain and Zack said he'd come but Rain said he was busy. We waited for Melinda and Zack and then we went to the bowling alley, when we got there we all got our shoes and went to our lane. Zack typed in our names and we started. Jack was up first.

"Do you think its considered cheating if i walk up like five feet away from the pins and roll the ball?" Jack asked

"Jack, thats not only cheating but not allowed. You will get in trouble" Zack sid

"Fine i'll do it the right way" he sighed and rolled the ball and knocked down 7 pins

"One more chance Jack" i said as the machine picked up the two pins and placed them back down, he rolled the ball at the last three pins but the ball went into the gutter

"No!, damnit!" Jack said

"My turn!" Melinda said and picked up a ball and rolled it and got a strike

"Sweet!" Alex said high fiving Melinda

"Okay so Melindas in the lead" i said and Jack pouted

The rest of the night was fun, Melinda was getting a good score everytime it was her turn. Jack was insisting that we delete Melinda off the chart since he was losing and he blamed her for it, but in the end Zack won since he got a lot more strikes then all of us. When we left the bowling alley we went to a resturaunt for dinner.

"That was fun, wasnt it" Alex said

"Yep" i said taking a sip of the water that they gave us

"I cant believe i came in last!" Jack said

"Dont worry Jack im sure you'll do better next time" i said

This was a fun night...
