Neighbors

The next day i got up and showered, then i went to my room and put on my gray jean shorts, yellow flowy tank top and black high tops. I called Melinda to come over and once she showed up we went out for breakfast. While we were at breakfast we talked about random stuff, it was nice to have breakfast with her. After breakfast we went back to my apartment and when we got close to my apartment we heard music coming from Alex's. I knocked on the door and a minute later Alex answered.

"Hey babe, hey Melinda" he said and Melinda waved

"Hey, whats going on i here good music coming from here" i said

"Band practice" he said

"Nice" i said

"Yeah, its really good that your here i need you" he said

"For what?" i asked

"Are you a good singer?" he asked

"Kinda" i said

"Cool come with me" he said

"Okay?" i said and i looked at Melinda confused and she shrugged and we followed Alex

We walked into the livingroom and the rest of All Time Low was there. I sat down next to Zack and Melinda sat next to Jack, Alex came over and sat down and shuffled through some papers until he found what he was looking for.

"Okay i need you to sing this part since its a girls part" he said pointing to a part of the song, the song was called Remembering Sunday

"Uhmm okay but i dont know this song so it might be a little hard" i said

"Here listen to the recorded version" he said playing the song from his itunes on his laptop

It was really good, i loved the girls part and her voice went really well with the rest of the song. After the song ended Alex looked at me hopefull

"Its really good" i said

"Great!" he said

"Why do you need me to sing it?" i asked

"Well, we have a performance friday night and i was thinking you could sing it with me" he said

"Awww" Melinda said

"I'd love you sing with you friday" i said

"Okay wanna try it?" he asked

"Can i hear my part one more time?" i asked

"Sure" he said and played the part i had to sing again

"I got it" i said

"Alright ready?" he asked

"Yep" i said and they started to play

He woke up from dreaming and put on his shoes
Started making his way past 2 in the morning
He hasn't been sober for days

Leaning now into the breeze
Remembering Sunday, he falls to his knees
They had breakfast together
But two eggs don't last

Now this place seems familiar to him
