Neighbors

The next morning i got up and took a quick shower before getting dressed. I put on my gray skinny jeans and a plain blue t-shirt, then went over to my collection of converse to find my dark blue ones. I have converse in every color its really neat. I quickly slid my converse on and then grabbed a banana and was out the door. I got to the bakery a little after 9 and my aunt and co-worker Derek were already working.

"Hey guys" i said

"Hey Sophie, so i talked to Melinda last night and she said you moved into your apartment?" my aunt Lauren asked, she was also my cousin Melindas mom

"Yeah, i mean i just moved in last night and i already love it" i said

"Good" she said

"Yep" i said

"Okay so can you go help Derek finish the order thats due today?" she asked and i nodded and went to the back to help.

Later that night at 5:30 i left work and went home. I got to bring four cupcakes home, two were vanilla and two were chocolate, yummy. I walked into the lobby and saw Alex talking to some guy, he looked over and when he noticed me he waved at me and i smiled and waved back. I went to my apartment and put my cupcakes away before picking up a book and sitting down to read. As i was reading there was a nock on my door.

"Come in" i yelled

"Hey" Alex said walking in

"Hi" i said putting the book down

"Do you wanna hangout?, im sorry if this is so sudden but ive got nothing to do and im in desperate need of fun" he said

"Uhm, what about your friend?" i asked

"He left he had to be somewhere else" he said

"Oh. Uhmm, sure why not. What should we do?" i asked

"Mall?" he asked

"Sure, wanna take my car?" i asked getting up and grabbing my bag

"Sure" he said

"Okay lets go" i said and we left

We got down to the lobby and walked outside to the parking lot. When we got to my car Alex looked at me with a 'seriously this is yours?' look, my car is a blue smart car and i love it.

"You dont seem like the type of person that would drive this" he said

"Well i do and i love it" i said as i unlocked the doors and we got in

"Wow, this is so...small" he said laughing

"Yup" i said as i pulled out of the parking lot
We got to the mall within ten minutes, i parked the car and we got out. We walked around for a bit and decided to go to the food court and get ice cream. I ordered vanilla in a cup and Alex ordered chocolate with brownies in it. Once we got our ice cream we sat down at a table to talk.

"So, how about we play 20 questions?. You know, so we can get to know eachother better" Alex suggested

"Alright me first" i said

"Go ahead" he said

"How old are you?" i asked

"22. You?" he asked

"22. Whats your job?" i asked

"Singer in a band, you?" he asked

"I work at my aunts bakery but im going to school to be a nurse. Whats your bands name and what do you play in the band?" i asked

"All Time Low, i sing and play guitar. Whats the bakery called so i can come and get a cupcake" he asked

"Kates bakery. What-...i got nothing" i laughed

"Okay thats fine cause i dont either" he laughed

"Haha, so your in a band?. Are you guys good?" i asked

"Yeah that guy you saw me with earlier is my band mate Jack" he said

"Cool, do you have a good voice?" i asked

"Yeah, wanna hear us?" he asked pulling out his phone

"Yeah" i said and he gave me a headphone and hit play

"What do you think?" he asked

"Good" i said and he smiled

Good looking and talented, i like it ...
