Neighbors

The next morning i got up and showered, had breakfast and i was out the door. Work was really busy today there was alot of customers, not to mention we were low on staff. I was running the register and a few people were baking but we still needed more help. While i was working Alex walked in.

"Hey" he said

"Hi" i said

"So how is everything here?" he asked

"Busy, im sorry i cant talk Alex im super busy" i said

"I noticed, where are the rest of the people?" he asked

"Baking" i said

"So your the only one up here?" he asked

"Mhmm" i said

"Wow, need a extra hand cause id be happy to pitch in today" he said

"Thats okay you probably dont no how to us a register" i said

"No but i can help bake stuff and then that way one of them back there can help you up here" he said

"Hmmm, okay that sounds good. Come on back" i said and he came behind the counter

Alex helped in the back for the whole day, he did pretty good. We had a lot of orders and it was a stressful day getting everything done but he didnt seemed fazed by the choas at all. He handles pressure better then me thats for sure. At the end of the day we decided to meet up for dinner since we were both starving. When i got to the resturaunt he was already there, i went over and sat with him.

"Hey" he said

"Hi" i said

"So, i had a lot of fun helping you out today" he said

"Yeah i could tell, thanks a lot for your help by the way" i said

"No problem" he smiled

"So...when does your band have a show cause id love to hear you guys live" i said

"Uhmm, tommarow night actually" he said

"Oh really?" i said

"Yeah i can get you back stage if you want. You can even bring your cousin Melinda along" he said

"Okay that would be great" i said

"Okay, so tommarow night at 7:00 you guys can ride with me if you want" he said

"Okay, thanks" i said

"Mhmm" he said

Tommarow should be fun...
