Neighbors

After coffee we went back to our apartment building and i grabbed my stuff for class. I went to my class for a few hours to do some test and stuff and then i left. I went to get Melinda and we went to the mall, we walked around talking and then we went back to my house. Later that night while we were hanging around watching a movie i heard a knock on the door. Melinda got up and answered the door, it was Alex.

"Hey" she said letting him in

"Hey, you guys ready to go?" he asked

"Yeah, what time does the concert start?" i asked

"Uhhmm like in twenty minutes" he said

"Your gonna be late!" i said

"No im not were the last to play so we have a few hours until our set" he said

"Oh that makes sense" i laughed and he smiled

"Yep so lets go shall we?" he said

"Yeah lets go" i said and all three of us left to go to the concert

We went to the concert and Alex got us backstage, we walked into the dressing room and there was three guys hanging out. They all looked towards us when we walked in and they looked surprised.

"Hey Alex who are your friends?" one of them said

"These are the girls i told you guys i was going to pick up, this is my neighbor Sophie and her cousin Melinda. Sophie and Melinda this is Jack, Rain and Zack" Alex said introducing us to eachother

"Hey" we said

"Hey" they said

We hung out backstage and got to meet the other bands that were playing tonight which were Fall Out Boy and Cobra Starship. Jack and Melinda were talking all night, they seemed to have the same personality and sense of humor so they hit it off quick. I talked with Alex and Patrick from Fall Out Boy, i was really enjoying myself. Later after Cobra Starship got off stage and they set up All Time Lows stuff it was time for them to go on stage.

"It looks like its time for our set" Alex said

"Okay" i said

"C'mon Jack its time to go on stage" Alex said to Jack who was playing some stupid peek-a-boo game with Melinda

"Okay" Jack said and walked over to us with Melinda

"See you guys after the show" Alex said

"Alright" we said and Jack, Alex, Rain and Zack went on stage

They started with, i think Vicky from Cobra Starship said the song was called 'Weightless'. It was really good, all their songs were. After the show Alex gave us a quick hug before motioning for us to follow him. We hungout behind the merch table while him and the guys signed autographs and stuff. After the place was almost completely empty except a few people Alex came to talk to while Jack talked to Melinda.

"So how did you like the concert?" Alex asked

"It was awesome, you guys were amazing" i said

"Aww thanks" he said

"Yep" i said

"So you wouldnt happen to know what time it is, would you?" he asked

"Uhm yeah its like 12:30" i said

"Damn its late" he said

"Yeah it is" i said

"Are you ready to go home?, i need to shower and im exhausted" he said

"Mhm lets go" i said

"Okay, Melinda were going c'mon" Alex yelled over to Melinda

"Uhmm im going out with Jack so you guys can go" she said coming over to us

"You sure, what about your car?" i asked

"I got my keys" she said

"Alright i'll see you tommarow" i said and she went back to Jack

"Looks like their getting along" Alex said as we walked out

"Yeah, how does Jack have the energy to go out after just playing a hour and half long set" i said

"Who knows" he laughed putting his arm around me

I like having his arm around me, i feel safe. I could get used to this...
