Neighbors

The next day after work me, Alex, Jack and Melinda went to a amusement park. We were walking around talking and playing games and riding rollercoasters, it was fun. Some rides were scary some wernt and when we were on the ones that wernt Jack would pretend to be scared and he'd scream in our ears. We were sitting down eating when Jack got a idea.

"Hey, who wants to ride the farris wheel?" Jack asked

"No" Melinda said

"Aww, Alex?" he asked

"Uhmm no, those things are slow torture" Alex said

"You two are such girls, i'll ride with you" i said

"Yay!" Jack said

"Lets go!" i said and i hugged Alex and we went to get on the farris wheel

We got on the farris wheel and it was fun, Jack would constantly rock our seat and i would flip. A few minutes later we got to the top and the ride made a noise and completely stopped. I froze and looked at Jack and he looked freaked out.

"What was that?" Jack said

"I dont know" i said

"Everyone remain calm were having a little bit of technical difficultys but we'll get you down ASAP" said the ride operator over a megaphone

"WHAT!?" i said

"Well this sucks" Jack said

"I know" i sighed

"Yeah, well were gonna be up here for a while so we might as well talk. Hows everything going?, Alex told me you two are together" he said

"Yep we are" i said

"Awww thats so adorable" he said

"Haha thanks, so are you single?" i asked

"Yup im a free man!" he said

"Nice" i said

"Mhmm, so how long do you think it'll actually take to get down?" he asked

"I dont no" i said

"Im not afraid of heights but honestly this is making me anxious being up here" he said

"Yeah me to ive never been stuck on a ride before" i said

"Me neither" he said

"You know ive never thought about it but farris wheels are like really scary. I mean your held into a metal seat with just a bar, and your dangeling like 50-" i started but he cut me off

"Shut up" he said

"Sorry" i said

Twenty minutes later we were getting bord and we started playing i spy, we did that for a few minutes then got tired of it. We sat in silence and then the ride started again making me jump.

"AH!" i said startled

"Finally!" he said

"Yeah im so happy were getting off this thing" i sighed

"Totally" he said

A few minutes we finally were able to get off the ferris wheel. I ran straight to Alex, he hugged me and looked at me confused.

"What the hell happened?" Alex said

"We got stuck" i said

"Awww are you okay?" he asked

"Mhmm" i said

"Hey! i was stuck up there to, nobodys concerned about me?" Jack said

"Awww we do, are you okay?" Melinda asked him

"Yeah it was terrifying though" he said

"I bet" she said

"Alls i know is i will never ride one of those again" i said

"Me neither" Jack said

Damn ferris wheels...
