A Little Piece of Heaven

I swayed from side to side as I listened to the guys on stage.

They've come so far.

Its been a year and a half since the day that Brian proposed to me.

Its been absolute bliss.

I didn't think life could get much better.

They guys had made amends a few weeks after the proposal and they got started on making music again.

They released their self titled album 8 months later and they're now touring.

I can't say how much I loved seeing them all on the stage together again.

After all of the craziness last year, I didn't think it would ever happen again.

I smiled widely as they finished playing Beast and the Harlot.

Brian looked over at me and winked.

I grinned as the butterflies in my stomach started going crazy.

Been with this man for years and he can still do those crazy things to me.

I looked over at all of the people chanting and cheering for Avenged Sevenfold.

I smiled proudly.

I heard several sets of footsteps coming towards me and I turned to see my best friends running to me.

I smiled as Alaina, Kat, Nique and Jaden came closer.

"Where have you guys been?" I asked them frantically.

"Do you know how hard it is to find a Walgreens into Ohio?" Nique asked.

I couldn't help but laugh as they shoved the bag in my hands.

They suddenly felt clammy and uneasiness settled in my stomach.

"You got this. Just take a deep breath and eat your Doritos." Kat said.

I looked over at the stage nervously and saw Brian rocking out to Unholy Confessions.

"Okay." I nodded.

They all smiled and surrounded me, walking me towards the bathrooms back stage.

"Do you ladies usually travel to the bathroom in packs?" Jason Berry said with a laugh.

"Hell yes!" Jaden exclaimed.

"It makes the process easier." Alaina said.

He laughed and shook his head, making his way back to side stage.

I took in a deep breath and went into the bathroom, closing the door behind me.

I pulled the box out of the bag and sat down.

I ripped the box open and stared at the instructions.

It could've been written in Chinese for all I knew.

It was all gibberish.

I threw the box and tapped my feet as I tried to pee.

For some reason it wasn't coming.

"Goddamn it!" I swore.

"What's wrong?"

"Did it fall in the toilet?"

Did you stub your toe?"

I started laughing as my friends came up with the most ridiculous ideas for my outburst.

"I can't go pee anymore." I grumbled.

All of a sudden the door flew open and I covered all the necessary parts as my friends barged in.

"What the hell?" I complained loudly.

"We're here to help! Quit complaining!" Nique said with a laugh.

Jaden turned in the facet and sat on the counter, staring at me.

I looked around the bathroom and sae that my friends had all posted themselves around the bathroom and were just staring at me.

"This was supposed to help me go pee?" I asked sarcastically.

They all busted out laughing and kept staring at me.

I closed my eyes and tried to focus on the task at hand.

I concentrated on the running water and after a few minutes, I felt the urge to pee.

I signed with relief as the pressure in my bladder went away.

I put the cap back on the stick and took care of business.

I stood up and washed my hands quickly, sitting the stick on the counter.

I leaned against the wall, my eyes never leaving the pregnancy test on the bathroom counter.

My heart was beating a million miles a minute and I could feel the light headedness start to become unbearable.

I slid down the wall and onto the floor.

"How long is this shit supposed to take?" Kat asked Impatiently.

Jaden picked up the discarded box and read the back.

"It says for the best results, to wait five minutes." She said.

I looked at her wide eyed.

"That'd an eternity!" Alaina complained.

"The longer you wait, the more accurate the test is." Jaden pointed out.

I looked down at tje ground and grumbled.

"I'm not pregnant you guys. I would feel if I was. Plus, I'm always a little late." I told them, trying to sound convincing.

Too bad it didn't work.

"Yeah right!" Nique yelled.

"Who are you trying to fool?" Alaina asked with a cocked brow.

I smiled softly and looked down.

I stood up slowly and started to pace back and forth.

I felt like there was a clock ticking in my brain and it went off.

I went over to the counter and picked up they test with shaky hands.

"I'm really scared." I said.

My friends surrounded me and put their arms around my waist, holding me close.

"Its gonna be okay Cee." Alaina murmured.

"You've got us with you no matter what." Nique said.

"And Brian's here for you too." Jaden added.

"And if he's not, then we'll kick his ass and make him change his mind." Kat said.

I smiled and chuckled, taking the cap off the stick.

Two lines.

"What the hell does two lines mean?!" I exclaimed.

My friends started rummaging around for the box and handed it over to me.

I scanned the box trying to read the instructions but my hands were shaking like crazy.

"Two lines means----," I trailed off.

"Holy motherfucking Christ!" Kat exclaimed.

"Hey! Watch your mouth!" Alaina exclaimed.

"There's impressionable ears here." Jaden said, putting her hands on each side of my stomach, as if to keep tiny baby inside of me from hearing.

There's an actual baby inside of me.

Thats something I may never get used to.

My eyes widened in horror as it finally hit me.

"I'm pregnant!" I exclaimed.

My friends all squealed and jumped around me, giving me their congratulations.

My feet stayed glued to the floor as they went crazy around me.

"What am I going to tell Brian?" I asked slowly.

That stopped them from their madness and they all stared at me.

Fuck.

What am I going to tell him?
