When Being Normal Is Weird
Birthday Eve
Tomorrow is my seventeenth birthday. Most minors are exited to be older, I'm not. My birthday means that another year has passed, another year I've changed while EVERYBODY in my family never changes, they stay the same.
Everybody from my mother's side of the family are vampires, my mother is a half vampire and my dad is a werewolf. I have a twin brother, Max, but he grew at an accelerated rate so he looks about 25, my father and him look like brothers. Max is very protective of me, so is everybody in the family.
What really sucks is that the only way for me to stop aging is to become a vampire but nobody wants to transform me. Grandma Bella is the only one on my side but she won't do it either because my parents have forbidden it. So I'll grow old and die while they stay young and happy. Fabulous.
