Not The Same Boy You Knew Back Then

For a long time it had seemed to me that life was about to begin - real life. But there was always some obstacle in the way. Something to be got through first, some unfinished business, time still to be served, a debt to be paid. Then life would begin. At last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life. -Fr. The obstacles in my life range from pathetic to tragic. In high school, my best friend got the guy. Later on, I married really young at the age of 19 hoping that my life could begin sooner. Then, my husband passed away before he could meet his own daughter. Now, I had to move in to an apartment because I couldn't afford my house anymore, and I'm forced to raise my 3 year old daughter alone.

I know now, that this is only the beginning.
