She's still here...
I'm graduating tomorrow.
There's nothing I need to worry about for school right now.
I've already got grants and scholarships to cover all the expenses of tuition and stuff.
The only thing I need to pay for is books and my apartment.

I sigh. Even after all these years, I still feel like Braelyn doesn't love me. It hurts beyond belief, but I can deal with it. Even though I'm not strong enough to stop talking to her, I'm strong enough to handle the pain she causes.

I log off of MSN and shut down my laptop. Elaina is waiting outside for me and if I don't hurry, she'll come running up here and drag me out.

I quickly tie my hair up and wrap my favorite purple bandanna around my head. I grab my flip flops and run down the stairs of my sister's house and out the front door.

"You are so lucky you ran out right now! I was about to go and get you!" Elaina shouts.

"Oh shut your trap." I laugh and climb into her SUV.

Elaina rolls her eyes. "So where we off to?"

"Do you still have that blanket in the back?"

"Yeah." She nods.

"Let's go to the park and lay down. I've got to tell you something."

She glances at me out of the corner of her eye. "Okay..."

I lay out the blanket on a grassy, sunny spot. I plop down with a huff. Elaina laughs and graciously lays down next to me.

"So what did you want to talk about?" she asks me quietly.

"I'm going to Canada the day after tomorrow," I state blatantly.

"What?! Why?" Elaina shoots forward and gives me look of incredulity.

I slowly sit up too, but look away from her gaze. "I'm going to see someone. I promised her I would."

"You're going to see someone... Would that someone be Braelyn?"

I blush and start fidgeting with my shirt. "Yeah."

"Acacia," Elaina chokes out a laugh, "why are you going to see her?"

"Because... Because-"

"Because nothing! This is such a moronic idea!"

I glare at her and yell: "Shut up! It's not a moronic idea!"

"Yes it is! Why are you even going up to see her? Oh wait, you love her, don't you?" she sneers.

"Yes, I do love her. Do you have a problem with that?"

"Yes, I do! Stop acting like she's some prodigious girl, Acacia! She's fickle and you know it!"

"No she's not!" I can't take this anymore. I get up and run away. I run through the park, past the lake and the swings, and to the nearest pay phone.

I quickly put some money in and shakily punch in the correct digits.

"Hello?"

"Sonny? Can you please come pick me up?"
