Older Then Time, Loving Forever

Meeting the Elrics

I sat under a tree in a field feeling so weak from not eating for two weeks, my throat was dry and sore from the lack of water. My stomach felt like a bottomless pit with nothing inside.
“Why can’t I just die…” I muttered, I looked around the nice quiet area and smiled. The wind blew gently across the field and I closed my eyes feeling my body cool down and relax. “So this is where he found piece, Hohenheim, at least you look old enough to actually get a home,” I smiled to yourself, soon enough I blacked out from lack of energy.

My name is Reaka Morden, I don't know who I am... Well... I only know my name and home place due to Hohenheim. When I awoke in the desert he told me my name and helped me regain my strength, but when I fell asleep one night a month later he left... And I never saw him again. I have blue eyes and long brown hair.

Not far from Reaka, two boys and one young girl were walking home from school with each other,
“Hey look… there’s a girl up there!” the young blonde girl pointed,
“Oh yea… I wonder what she’s doing,” the youngest brother spoke,
“Who cares… lets just get home,” the oldest pouted and walked on.

“She’s passed out!” the girl yelled and ran up the hill to Reaka,
“Winry wait!” the youngest brother called, the oldest stopped and sighed then looked up at his younger brother and friends Winry run up the hill.

“Edward! This girl doesn’t look too good!” Winry called,
“I’m coming,” Edward ran up the hill. They all looked at the her,
“She’s very pretty…” Winry spoke,
“Who cares how pretty she is… you said she needed help… who’s going to get it,” Edward snapped,
“You get it then!” Winry put her hands on her hips and pouted,
“Fine…” Edward sighed and ran off to his home.

Later on Reaka was lying on a sofa in Edward’s and his younger brothers house,
“Where did you find her again?” their mother asked,
“She was passed out under a tree…” the younger brother spoke.

I heard voices around me as I sat up and held my head,
“Where am I?” I muttered,
“How are you feeling?” I looked up at a woman with chestnut hair and green eyes,
“I’m not good…” I stopped as my stomach rumbled loudly,
“I have a feeling you passed out from hunger, am I right?” the woman asked, I nodded slowly,
“I’ll get you some food then,” the woman smiled. I didn’t say anything as she walked off; I looked over the back of the sofa and saw 2 young boys at the door, blonde hair and golden eyes.

They reminded me of Hohenheim, I sat back and put my feet on the floor as the two boys stood at the end of the sofa looking at me. I gave them a sideward glance and they ducked down, this made a smirk appear on my lips. I leaned over the side and looked down at them both,
“I’m not gonna bite you know… I may look big and scary but I’m actually quite nice,” I smirked, they both stood up and looked at me,
“Why did you pass out under the tree?” one of the boys asked,
“Because I haven’t eaten for 2 weeks…” I sat up and sighed,
“2 weeks!” the boys were shocked,
“Yea… I’m good at surviving so I can last a long time without food…” I sighed again.

“What are your names?” I asked,
“I’m Edward,” the boy on the right spoke,
“I’m Alphonse,” the other smiled, “
And your both very cute,” I smiled,
“What’s your name miss?” Alphonse asked,
“Reaka, but call me Rea,” I answered,
“Rea…” Edward repeated,
“Yes,” I winked which earned a small blush from him.

Later on their mother, Trisha had cooked me some food and took the boys out the room so she could talk with me.
“How come you’re traveling alone Rea?” Trisha asked,
“Because I have no family and I’m looking for someone…” I explained,
“Who?” she asked,
“You know him very well, but he left not long ago and I just missed him…” I sighed and looked up at Trisha with a serious expression on my face.
“Hohenheim?” Trisha looked a bit shocked,
“Yes, we’ve been friends since I was very young, I was hoping to find him and ask him some questions and catch up really,” I smiled, “You see… I’ve got something in common with him,” I looked down at my empty plate,
“Are you immortal too?” Trisha asked, I nodded,
“He should be back in a few years, we made a promise,” Trisha smiled.

Trisha and myself spoke most of the night getting to know one another and telling funny stories about Hohenheim,
“You know, me and Hohenheim have always had this thing where we know how each of us feels about something… and I can sense off you, that he was very much in love with you Trisha,” I smiled, Trisha smiled at me sweetly,
“Why don’t you stay a while Rea, I’m sure my sons would love to have you here too,” Trisha smiled,
“Ok, but I wont stay for too long, I mean, I need to find Hohenheim don’t I,” I smiled.

Trisha was a lovely woman, and her invitation made me feel incredibly happy.
