Too Fast
Velaska has been on tour with Avenged Sevenfold and they were half way done with their small tour for only military. She still got her work done and everything seemed to be fine. Even Matt seemed okay with her being there and sharing a bunk with Brian. But as Velaska just got done with her work for the day, she heard an argument from the main living room. She saved everything and closed her laptop before she slowly made her way to see what was going on. She slowly slipped through the curtain and saw that it was Brian and Matt. She slowly made her way to the couch and sat down next to the other band members that were just sitting and watching. “But I want to! You can’t tell me what the fuck I can and fuckin can not do.” Brian said
“But you just started dating!” Matt said
“But I didn’t just meet her! I’ve known her as long as I’ve known you! And besides it’s not like I’m asking the other big question, though hopefully that’ll be just around the corner.” Brian said.
Velaska could feel herself blushing as she figured out what her brother and boyfriend were arguing about. The hives were slowly appearing although she tried her hardest to not think about them. And once she knew they weren’t going to go away, if anything they were getting worse, she felt the heat radiating off her skin. She wanted to tell them that she was there and to stop yelling at each other but that idea just made her hives worse. “Umm guys, you’re making Laska heat up.” Zacky said. Matt and Brian stopped arguing and looked at Velaska at the same time. She had red blotches and hives all over her skin. Brian went to go feel her but before his hand could touch her he felt the heat. He quickly just walked into the kitchen area to fill a bag of ice and then wrapping it in a towel before he gave it Velaska to put across her forehead.
Matt was knelt down in front of her trying to find out why Velaska was having what they called “an episode”. That’s what they decided to call Velaska breaking out in hives. “Are you okay?” Matt asked concerned
“Yea, I’ll be fine.” Velaska said. “Thank you hun.” Velaska added to Brian; the coldness made her feel better instantly.
“Why you’d break out?” Brian asked sitting down next her.
“Well you guys were fighting and I …” Velaska started to say before she got interrupted by her brother.
“We are the cause of it?” Matt asked and Velaska just held her hand up in a “stop” gesture.
“As I was saying, I figured out what you guys were fighting about. Or should I say the question you guys were fighting about and it made my heart start to race and then duh-da hives.” Velaska said and used her hands in a “duh-da” gesture.
“Wait, you figured out what I wanted to ask you?” Brian asked.
Velaska just nodded her head. “Yea, I heard you two arguing from the backroom and I came out here so that I could actually understand what you two were actually saying. At first I didn’t know what you guys were arguing over but once you said it wasn’t the other big question although you hoped that was around the corner I figured out what it was. And then the hives came.” Velaska said
“What is the question?” Brian asked
“What?” Velaska asked confused
“What is the question you think we were arguing about?” Brian asked Velaska. Velaska looked at Brian then her brother then around the room. She could feel herself getting worked up again. Her breathing started to get heavy and then Brian pulled her into a hug.
“I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to get you worked up. I’m sorry.” Brian said as he started to rock her a little bit.
“You want to ask me to move in with you?” Velaska whispered into his ear.
“Yes.” Brian said
“Why?” Velaska asked and Brian just held her at arm’s length so that he could look into her eyes.
“Why what?” Brian asked
“Why do you want to ask me to move in with you?” Velaska asked loud enough for everyone to hear and they were all listening.
“Well I have enjoyed spending every night with you in my arms. And you spend more time at my house than yours anyway. And you told me that you and Charlottee have been fighting a lot lately. And I think we are ready for that step in our relationship. I don’t need an answer right away. Give it some time to think about it, it’s not a small question. But I wanted to be able to walk into our house and smile because I know I share it with someone I love; someone who can make me smile just by seeing their face.” Brian explained.
Velaska just sat there letting everything Brian said soak in. He had some perfectly valid points. Charlottee and she had been fighting a lot; they normally never fought and if they did it was because it was “that time of the month”. But now it just seemed like they fought more than they got along, which was one reason why she was spending so much time over Brian’s. She had almost half her clothes there anyway. And she agreed with Brian, they were ready for this step. And she might even be ready for the other question, because like Brian said to Matt they have known each other for years and not when they just started dating. “Okay.” Velaska said
“Okay what?” Brian asked confused
“Okay, I’ll move in with you.” Velaska said with a smile. Brian’s face lit up before he pulled Velaska into a passionate kiss. Velaska kissed back with just as much passion but soon pulled away as she didn’t want to get carried away with her brother right there.
Her hives were finally starting to go back down as she lay against the back of the couch with the cloth with ice resting once again on her forehead. “Congrats man” Matt said
“So you are okay with it?” Brian asked confused since they did just argue about it 10 minutes ago.
“Well you didn’t explain to me your reasoning for it. You just came to me asking permission to ask Velaska to move in.” Matt said
“Wait, what? Brian asked you permission?” Velaska asked.
“Well yea. He is the only family you have so I felt like I needed to ask him permission for the two big steps couples go through: moving in together and marriage.” Brian said
“You didn’t ask him permission for the second one yet, did you?” Velaska asked looking between Brian and Matt.
“No because we aren’t ready for that. But I wanted him to know that I will be asking him for permission to ask you to marry me and it will be before he thinks I would. Like I said it’s around the corner but just not yet.” Brian said
“Oh my gawd I love you so much!” Velaska said jumping up and pulling Brian into a kiss.
“And besides if anything happens I don’t want to lose the friendship I have with him but I have no intentions whatsoever for it to get to that point.” Brian said
“You do know that’s a little bit of a suck up, it’s respectful and I love you for it but it comes off as little suck up-ish.” Velaska said
“I don’t care. All that matters to me is that I make you happy.” Brian said
“You make me more than happy. And I am so glad that I have family like you guys. I know I can always count on you guys.” Velaska said getting a little teary eyed. Brian pulled her into a hug and soon it became a group hug.
“But you just started dating!” Matt said
