"You're my best friend, Kayla. Don't ever forget it."
We were fifteen when he had said that.
I smiled and grabbed his hand. "And you're my best friend, Zach. Don't you ever forget it."
"Good. I don't know what I'd do without you, sugar."
I giggled as he intertwined our fingers and swung our arms wildly, back and forth.
I kind of realized then that I wanted Zacky in my life forever. And, as he swung my arms crazily with his, I thought for a moment that he wanted me in his life forever, too.
It was times like these that I couldn't get the memories of Zacky out of my head.
It was times like these that I wished he'd just get out of my head and leave my sanity alone.
