As Days Go By...

Lie to Me.

Days later, the boys and I were sitting around, doing nothing but drinking. Well, Val and I weren't drinking, surprisingly. The boys were getting wasted off their asses though.

They stumbled around Matt's house and laughed when they ran into each other. They told me stories of when they were on tour and how much fun it was.

"It'll only get better as we go along, Kay! Isn't that great?" Matt slurred, as he leaned on Val. She groaned and tried to push his huge body off of her.

"Maybe, you'll come on the next tour, baby," Jimmy squealed, jumping on my lap. I laughed and told him maybe I would.

Later that night, I was sitting on Matt's front porch. To be honest, the stars didn't really shine as bright as they could here in the city.

Not long after I wandered outside, I felt a warm set of arms wrap around my stomach, and a warm cheek up against my neck.

I smiled and said, "Hey, Zacky."

"Hey, beautiful."

I rolled my eyes. "Zacky, I'm not beautiful. Don't lie to me."
