Envy Me?
I sighed, looking at my reflection in the mirror. There were slight bruise marks from where Zacky was holding me three days ago. I pulled down the orange tank top and left the bathroom.
The group was sitting in Brian's living room. I sat as far away from Zacky as I could, and he did the same to me. I sat next to Michelle, Val's twin sister.
After a few minutes, she looked at me and smiled. "Hey, Kayla, I, um...I envy you."
I looked at her and questioned the motives to this madness.
She said, "Well, you're beautiful. You have a great personality and all the guys love you. You can have any guy you wanted, really. You're just...great. I want to be like that."
I stared at her, and replied simply. "That's not true. I can have any guy besides the one I want."
...She envied me?
