Fatal Attractions

Shrtiga

Fitchburg, Wisconsin.

Population: 20,501.

At least, that's what the sign read. I sighed as we pulled onto the curb across the street from a diner called 'Glasow's Lunch.' Dean got out and walked into the diner. I felt relieved to finally be out of the car! We had been driving for so long. I felt like I was going insane. Sam smirked as he watched me stretch.

I rolled my eyes at him.

"What?"

"You get more and more like your brother everyday." I smirked.

Sam rolled his eyes as Dean walked out of the diner, with three coffee cups in hand. I chuckled as I met him halfway. I took my hot chocolate from him, eagerly. I wasn't exactly into coffee as much as the boys were. I went and stood my Sam, who was leaning against the Impala.

"So what did you find?" I asked, sipping my coco.

"Well, the waitress says that the local Freemason's are up to something sneaky. But other than that no body's heard of anything weird going on." Dean said, handing Sam his cup.

I rolled my eyes.

"Dean, do you got the time?" Sam asked, looking confused.

Dean lifted his sleeve to read his watch. "ten after four."

"What's up, Sammy?" I asked, as he shook his head.

"What's wrong with this picture?" He said, as he motioned ahead of him.

I followed his gaze and cocked an eyebrow. The playground was empty. There was only one little girl playing by herself. Where the heck were all the kids at?

"School's out, isn't it?" Dean asked.

"Yeah." I mumbled.

Sam sighed. "So where is everybody? This place should be crawling with kids right now."

I shook my head as Dean sighed. Dean mumbled something and walked off. I sighed a I climbed into the backseat. Looks like there might be a case here, after all. Sam climbed in beside me. I smiled as I rested my head against his shoulder. Sam chuckled as he started to play with my hair.

I loved how Sam knew how to turn a random moment sweet.

"Do you love Dean?" He asked, out of nowhere.

"I love you both, Sammy."

"You know what I mean."

I sighed. He also knew how to ruin the moment.

"Why does it matter to you?"

"I saw him kiss you."

"What?" I asked. I was getting annoyed.

"Back in Texas. I saw him kiss you at the door." Sam sighed.

"And?"

"Well, why did he kiss you? Is there something going on between you that I should know about?"

I rolled my eyes at him.

"Since when is it your business who I do and do not kiss?" I snapped.

"What about us, Ells? I don't want to be like before. I wont share you." Sam growled.

He pushed me down onto the seat. I groaned as he roughly crashed his lips to mine. I struggled with Sam as I tried to push him off me. I hated when Sam acted this way. Sam yanked at my hair, causing me to scream in pain. He wasted no time as he shoved his tongue in my mouth.

I hated being man handled. I roughly bit Sam's tongue. He shouted as he pulled away from me. I growled and slapped him, hard. Sam glared at me as I opened the car door and got out. I saw Dean walking back and rushed into his arms.

"What's wrong?" Dean asked, rubbing my back.

"Nothing. Let's go." I mumbled.

Dean sighed as we got back in the car. This time i sat in the passenger's seat. Dean told us what the lady had said about the playground being empty. Apparently there was an epidemic going around that getting kids sick. I sighed as we had finally found another motel.

'2400 Count Motel' was lit up like a Christmas tree. I sighed as i waited for the boys outside the office. A few minutes later, Dean walked out and handed me the room key. I quickly found our room and flopped on the bed. Sam went to the restroom to get ready. I sighed.

I guess it was the CDC this time. I rolled my eye as Dean smirked at me. He was the only one from the two who didn't have a problem getting dressed in front of me. And why should he? It's not like I haven't seen him or Sam naked before. I rolled my eyes, stopping those memories before they started.

After a few minutes of the boys bickering about who was who, they left. I sighed as I laid back on the bed. I was so ready to just crash. Sam was being a total douche and he had put me in a bad mood.

Just as I was about to go into la la land, someone knocked at the door. I sighed, feeling a bit annoyed. Who the hell could that be? I got up from the bed and walked to the door. I opened it, preparing to bitch someone out, when I saw who it was.

"Castiel?"

"Yes?" He asked, walking into the room.

"Um, what are you doing here? I didn't call you." I said, a bit still surprised.

He had actually knocked!

"I'm aware. I just wanted to see you. Is there a problem with that?" He asked, sitting on the couch.

"Well, no."

I sat besides Castiel and sighed. I think I had had enough surprises for the day. I felt Castiel watching me as I stared at my nails. I didn't know how to act around Castiel. He was weird for an angel. Hi presense always made me feel at peace with myself. Like now. As mad as I am at Sam, Castiel just makes it seem so unimportant.

I shook my head and looked at Castiel. "So did you come to just stare at me?"

"Yes." Castiel said, bluntly.

I felt a blush creep onto my face. I quickly stood up and walked over to the bed. I laid down and sighed.

"Are you alright?" Castiel asked, appearing beside me.

"Yeah, just tired. You don't mind if I nap for a while?"

"No. I like watching you sleep. You look beautiful." Castiel said.

I hid my face in the pillow and nodded. How great was my life? An angel was making me blush. I rolled my eyes and waited for sleep to take me.

*+*+*+*+*

"Okay, run this by me again? You want to use the kid as bait?" I asked, incredulously.

"Yeah." Dean said.

"Are you nuts? No. Forget it that's out of the question." I said, as Sam shook his head.

"It's not out of the question, Ellz. It's the only way. If the things disappears before we get another chance."

"Michael's a kid and we are not going to dangle him in front of that thing like a worm on a hook!" I shouted, as Dean glared down at me.

"Dad did not send me here to walk away." Dean growled.

"Send you here?" Sam asked, joining the fight. "He didn't send you here. He sent us here."

"This isn't about you Sam. I screwed up. It's my fault. There's not telling how many kids got hurt because of me." Dean said, walked away.

"What are you saying, Dean? How is it your fault?" Sam asked.

I sighed as I sat on the bed. I knew what he was talking about. It happened when we were little. Dean had already put Sam and i to sleep. He was supposed to have stayed in the room with us till John had come back. But he didn't. He had left to go get some fresh air and play so video games.

when he had finally come back, it was already in the room. I remember coming out of the bathroom and wanting to scream when i saw the Shrtiga hovering over Sammy. Dean had stood frozen at the door. He couldn't move. John busted through the door and tried to kill the Shrtiga. It fled before he could.

I shook my head and laid down. It was obvious the guys weren't going to listen to me. I mean why would they? I was just the girl that rode with them. After a while, Dean climbed into the bed next to me.

Sleep was the furthest thing from my mind, but just the same it still consumed me.
