Why Can't I Stop?

When you told me we were over, that’s when I started. Once, I started I couldn’t stop. Every day the pain grew stronger and my body thirsted for the blood to rush down my arms and the tears to flow off my cheeks. I continued to run the details over and over about what happened to our relationship. I was in love and you weren’t. It was as simple as that, but I never realized that until it was too late. I had ended my life in a flash all because I couldn’t answer one stupid question; ‘why can’t you stop, Caitlin?’
