To Trick, or Not to Treat. That Is the Question.

Joseph's life, although it seemed glamorous, was often encased with pain and danger. He had always sworn that his children would be the most protected kids in the world. If he was hurt, that was his own fault. If they got hurt, he would live in agony forever. In turn, the young children had never experienced a normal childhood. Public school was a large no-no, play dates were almost nonexistant, and they had never been allowed to trick-or-treat. Uncle Nicholas opened his mouth and offered to take them on the traditional candy hunt. Ever since, the kids hadn't let their father forget the suggestion. With the monumental night finally here, Joseph was definitely having lots of regret.
