Before, I was a child.
Carefree,
Happy,
And nothing could touch me.

I was ignorant,
Blissful,
Yet I was smart.

I saw beauty for what it was-
Rolling waves for the mermaids to live in
Amber clouds for the unicorns to dance through.

Life was an adventure that I would
Never
Ever
Ever
Tire of.

Living was my destiny
Nothing more
Nothing less.

Simplicity brought to me
The purest form
Of bliss.

If I had a time turner
I would instantly return to
Before the heartbreak.
Before the suffering.
Before my awakening.
