Rose of Despair

The night was darker then usual, a feeling uneasy
was all around.
Tori walked in the little limited area, too worried to sleep.
Every now and then she would glance at the others that slept
beneath the tall trees, trying to gain as much energy as they can.
Looking around she focused on the area that Lupin chose as their
"resting" place. As dark and as creepy as it was, the place that
surrounded them made her feel somewhat safe.
A sense of some security made everything ease a bit.
Tori then stared off into the distance, thinking of her beloved.
She smiled as she imagined the first thing they will do
upon their return to one another. Deep down she was worried to
reveal the news of their unborn child.
All she hoped for was that he was still alive, for all
that she is imaginning would be a waste if he didnt return.
Trusting people's word that he is just fine, she set a small sigh.
Suddenly she turned around, hearing something.
Her eyes fixing on the darkness, as she tried to focus
on the strange thing hidden in the woods.
Hand firmly gripping her wand, she rose up.
Then within a split second three large figures flew from the
shadows of the trees.
Tori did the first thing she could, send a petrounus spell to
bind whoever it was.
Opening her eyes she noticed, Harry and the others were now awake
all pointing their wands in the same direction.
"Watch where you point that wand SinClair." one of the dark figures said.
Tori gasp as the three unknown beings came into the light
that came from the fire.
She coudnt believe it.
There he was, with the biggest smile on his face.
And just as she imagined it, the first thing they did was
embrace one another in a hug.
Draco held her close, like he never wanted to let go, and
honestly he didnt.
"How? But, I thought..." Tori seemed lost for words.
Then she turned to Tristan and Blaise.
"Thank you." she whispered, water in her eyes.
"Good to have you back." Harry said, hand extended.
Draco took it and they shook hands.
"Get down!" Lupin suddenly yelled catching everyone off guard.
Then green sparks flew from the same area that Draco and the other two came from.
Knowing exactly what those curses were everyone immediately started running, all
following Proffesor Lupin while Mites stayed behind to try and fend them off.
"Run! Go now!" Lupin yelled, making everyone even more
nervous.
"Just run straight ahead and hide! I have to go help Mites."
"Proffesor we can help!"
"No, not now! Just run!"
"But.."
"Run harry! all of you now!"
Then the proffesor turned and left the others, to run to
merlin knows where!
After a few mins of running, they safly hid behind a bundle of connected trees.
"we have to go help." Tom said.
"No, you heard the proffesor." Blaise told him, catching his breath.
"This is what we have been trainning for! Why are we running?!"
"Harry is right." Tori agreed, her wand at the ready.
"No Tori, you stay here." Draco immedately said.
"Draco, now is not the time to try and protect me, we have to help."
"Dammit Tori I just got back to you, and now you wanna just run and fight!" Draco
hissed.
"We have to and you know it! We shouldn't even be hiding."
"Im not having you go back there, we will do
exactly what the proffesor said and stay here."
"What?! You can stay if you want, Im gonna go and try to do something,
we have no idea who those are that tried to attack us and we....."
Tori paused.
Looking around she suddenly met Draco's eyes.
"Draco?"
"Yeah?"
Having a lump in her throat, preventing her from saying anything, she just stared
at him, suddenly feeling worried.
"How come you didnt come with Dumbledore, and Professor Magonagal?" she whispered.
She then felt Draco tense up.
"They told us to go ahead of them." he mentioned.
Tori looked up at him.
"Draco?"
"What Tori?"
"Proffesor Magonagal wasn't assigned to your mission of rescue, it was Mad-eye and Snape." she whispered in a deep breath. Harry and Tom soon tensed up as well.
Tori looked up and immediately had goosebumps.
Draco smiled, and if you saw his smile it was nothing that resembled anything good.
Pulling her away from his grasp, Tom pointed his wand at Draco and the other two.
Tristan,Draco, and Blaise just stood there, smiling at the three confused students.
"Whats the matter love?" Draco asked smirking.
Suddenly another set of dark figures appeared from behind Draco and the other two.
Setting her eyes on something else, Tori threw her hand to her mouth to
prevent her from screaming.
There he was, the REAL Draco, hands tied behind his back, blood dripping from
every place possible, at the feet of a deatheater.

Within seconds the imposters changed into their real form.
Tears welling up in her eyes, Tori stared at Lucius Malfoy and two
other death eaters she didnt recognize.
"Nice to see you again my dear." Lucius said.
This cant be happening, how could it?!
Tom pulled her behind him and both Harry and Tom hid her away from their view,
in a attempt to protect her.
"The dark lord will be pleased, seeing as now we have the three main people
he has most desire for. Two quans and the Harry Potter himself. This seemed
all too easy." Lucius laughed.
"But before the real fun begins I have a little present for my dear SinClair."
Peeking from behind the two, Tori set her eyes as they dragged
the man she loves as if he wasnt worth anything.
Gripping onto the back on Tom's shirt she stared at what was happening.
"To..Tori?" Draco whispered, trying hard to speak.
"Draco!!" she cried about to run towards him, but quickly Harry caught her arm.
"No! Let him go you asshole!" she yelled.
"Ahh, well seeing as how I has part of bringing him into this world, I
believe I have the right to take him out of it."
Lucius's words were like poison.
Pointing his wand as his son he whispered a spell,and almost instantly Draco began to
shake uncontrollably. Tori watched in pain as she witness Draco's life being slowly
pulled away. Crying harder she saw blood soon to pour from his nose, mouth, and sadly his
eyes as well.
"No!!" she yelled, kicking and screaming at Harry to let her go.
She couldnt just stand there and watch her love die.
She fell down to the muddy land beneath her and closed her eyes.
Draco was banging his head against the ground, in too much pain
to bare with it.
"Draco!!" she cried loudly, and she was sure the whole world must have heard her cry.
"Tori." he said.
"Tori, get up!"
She looked at his face, all the pain in the world was with her at that moment.
"Get up Tori!" Draco yelled.
Tori opened her eyes. Above her were Harry and proffesor Lupin.
"Draco! where is he!" she yelled, look scared.
"Tori! calm down!"
"No, hes dying, please we have to.."
"My dear, calm down...Draco isnt here."
Franticly looking around, she saw that it was now daylight.
"It was a nightmare." Tom whispered, holding firmly onto her hand
as she let reality sink in.
The biggest relief came upon her.
It was just a nightmare.
