Vamps In Hiding: Prolouge
"I don't know, Brielle. I feel nervous," Maribella Webb said. She had butterflies in her stomach.
"Don't worry, Bella, you'll be fine," Brielle Alverez reassured her friend. "Remember, don't make eye contact with anyone, and the first day will fly." There was a knock at the door. "The boys are here. Come on, Maribella!" Brielle hurried out to meet her boyfriend, James Black.
Maribella took a deep breath, then sighed. First day of our first year in high school.
"As vampires," Zachary Hunt added. He put his arm around her shoulder and kissed the top of her head.
"As vampires," Maribella agreed, and they walked out the door.
