Maybe She's Breaking?

Ellie has another bruise; this time on her neck. I caught her in the bathroom this morning as she was putting on makeup to try to cover it up. She didn't give me the chance to ask about it this time, just screamed at me at the top of her lungs until I couldn't do anything but retreat.

At school nobody notices, but that's probably just because no one was looking for it in the first place.
