Chapter 1: Faded

The words are faded blue ink. I barely focus on the words themselves. I know them by heart at this point. For me the letter is a source of eternal comfort. I don’t know much about Elaine, I know what she looks like from the photos but that’s honestly about it. I guess we look alike in a way, same wavy/straight hair, same eyes, and the same damn lips.
