Chapter 3: Catch
“Hey, so I was wondering if I could stay here once I turned 18 ‘til I graduated?”
So asking Agnes for anything is a bad idea but I need to figure out what I'm doing and since she runs this damn place I figure I might as well ask. I know that the answer is either going to be “NO” or “Hmmmm…maybe…” with a catch. Everything with this woman has a catch.
“I’ll think about it and get back to you…” I swear she didn’t move her lips when she said that. God she’s creepy. Seeing as that wasn’t a “no” there’s going to be a fucking catch. Wonderful.
