Curse of the Imprint

It has been three weeks since the whole ordeal happened.
Not sure what to do, the Cullens remained in Forks
while the wolf fack stayed in La Push. Noone wanted
to admit that this is reality, especially Skarlet
and Jacob. The truth is that, the longer Jacob
stayed away, the more he long to see her. The
one glimps of Skarlet was all he had to subdue his
yearning.

Sam has made the decision not to kill Skarlet or
the rest of the Cullens, but it came with a price.
If the Cullens were to change another human,
including Bella, the wolves of La Push will have
to destroy the vampire that did the changing. The
two groups met together once more the day after
the they found out Jacob had imprinted. All were
present except Skarlet and Jacob once again.
Upon meeting Sam told them of his decision,
in which the Cullens make an oath to abide by it.
Unfortunately no matter what now, they must not
break this oath.

Although it gave Bella more time to be human,
much to Edwards liking, it caused problems
with the Cullens. The Volturi are expecting
Bella to no longer be human soon. The plan was to
change her after the wedding between her and Edward,
which was in month. It caused more problems with Edward,
seeing as how he had promised Bella already. In the
end all the Cullens could do was hope for the best.

"Skar, you ready?" Emmet asked, peeking his head
into her room.
"Yes, I've been waiting too long for today!" she
replied looking extremely happy.

The family was preparing to leave for the weekend
for their usual hunt. Walking downstairs, the two
met up with everyone before departing for the mountains.
Skarlet was in desperate need for this hunt, seeing as
how she hasn't had any blood in weeks. It has been extremely
difficult to control herself with Bella around. When she
couldn't stand it anymore, she would simply leave the room.

Twently minutes after they reached the hunting grounds,
Edward recieved a call on his phone.

"Who is this?" he snarled, catching the attention
of his family members. Skarlet wiped the blood
off of her face as she looked at Edward. She has
just finished with a mountain lion, and although
it seemed to satisfy her hungry, she needed more
to make herself completely full to have more
energy.

"Where is Bella?" Edward asked, grinding his teeth
together.

Skarlet and her family could hear Edwards thoughts,
but they stood there, still confused.

*Katherin*
*Vampire....Victoria*

The mention of Victoria sent confused looks
towards Edward. Before Skarlet arrived, the family
has gotten rid of Victoria and her army of new borns.

With a growl, Edward hung up the phone before
speeding off back to Forks without another word.
Everyone immediately turned to Alice who was having a
vision.

"Oh, no. We have to follow Edward now!" Alice told them.
"What is wrong?" Rosalie asked worried.
"Katherin is at Bella's house."
"Who is that?"
"She is Victoria's sister, she came to finish what
Victoria planned. She knows about Bella."

Immediately, everyone ran right after Edward.

"Rosalie, bring Skarlet back home." Carlisle yelled to Rosalie.
"No, I am coming with!" Skarlet yelled to him.
"It is too dangerous, Skarlet you need to go home."
"Let me come with you." Skarlet said looking at him.

Carlisle looked at her with a sad face before saying,
"Okay." The reason as to why he looked at her sadly was
because he knew she had just used her powers on him.
The family ran straight to Bella's house only to
find that she wasn't there. Picking up
on her scent, they split up into two groups before heading into
the woods.

Edward, Jasper, Alice, and Esme headed east, while the rest
ran west, hoping to meet up in the middle on the
other side of the woods.

The scent of Bella was getting stronger as both groups
ran farther.

Soon Edward finally spotted two figures running away from
them.

*We found them, they are heading towards the border.* Edward
thought, informing Carlisle and the others.

Soon as the two figures got closer to them, they sensed
there was more company. Quickly looking behind, Alice and Jasper
was knocked out of the way by two other vampires. Stopping in
their tracks Edward and Esme turned back to help.

*No, go after Bella. We got them." Alice said
in her thoughts, quickly as they stopped, mother and
son were back to running towards Bella.

*Watch your backs, there are more behind.* Esme
thought to her husband.

On the other side of the woods as soon as they
heard Esme's voice in their head, they looked back to find three
more vampires running towards them.

"Skarlet, run!" Carlisle yelled, but unfortuantely
before she could comprehend, one of the male vampires
jumped on her.

"No!" Carlisle yelled running towards her, but soon
got knocked down himself from another vampire that
appeared out of nowhere. Rosalie and Emmet were
busy fighting two of the three that followed them
from behind. Struggling with the vampire that layed
on top of her Skarlet tried her best to get him off.

She stared him straight in the eyes before saying,
"Get off of me."
Looking confused, he stopped and growled as he got off of her.

"Go and bite him in the neck." Skarlet told the vampire,
as she pointed to the one Carlisle was fighting. Not
being able to control his body anymore, the unknown
vampire walked up to his accomplice and bit him in the neck.

"Tear him to sreds." Skarlet added, looking completely angry.
Confused, Carlisle looked to his young daughter and saw her
staring evily at the vampire she was earlier battling, watching
him rip apart his friend.

"What are you doing Mourice?" The female vampire hissed,
pushing Rosalie away.

"I can't help it." he replied. The screams of the poor
vampire that was being torn apart caught the attention of
the other vampire Emmet was fighting. Turning to the other two
vampires behind her, Skarlet growled, "Stand completely still, do
not move."

Against their will, the helpless vampires stood there. Rosalie and
Emmet then took the chance to kill them. Looking shock, Carlisle
walked up to Skarlet and hugged her, making sure she was okay.

"Thank you, my dear."

Soon the four of them were back on track, running
to meet up with Edward and Esme.
Within minutes they all were reunited with their
family members. Looking in front of them
was a female vampire with red hair, holding Bella by the neck.
Standing next to her were three other vampires, all males.

"Let her go." Edward yelled.

"How dare you and your pathetic family do what you did
to my sister and her lover. All for this helpess stupid human."
Katherin yelled back.

The Cullens couldn't do anything. They were standing
along the border between Forks and La Push. Being unable to
cross, Edward watched as innocent Bella hung loosly against
Katherin.

Suddenly to everyones surprise, they heard a sickening growl
behind them. Within seconds five large wolves jumped behind them.
Confused on what to do, the new vampires stood there.
Suddenly a battle broke out between the male vampires and the wolves.
Katherin glared at what was happening before grabbing Bella tighter around
the neck and clawing into her skin. Bella's weak scream made Edward
go crazy. A large brown wolf ran and pushed Katherin from behind, making
her tumble back into the Cullen's territory. There Edward grabbed her and
angrily bit into her neck. The blood bath went on for a few
more minutes. Esme and Rosalie grabbed Bella out of there as soon she
she fell onto their side of the border and took her back to their house.

Jacob stood there frozen, as he stared at Skarlet, watching her
look at Edward painfully kill Katherin. His heart beating fast,
the burning sensation pulsing though his veins. Forcing himself
to look away, he turned around and walked back to his pack.

*Wow, is that her?" Embry asked, looking at the
new Cullen.

The wolves were finished killing those three, now they watched
Edward calm down, along with the other Cullens.
*Yeah, thats her.* Jacob responded not looking in their direction.
*She is just wow!*
*Enough Embry!* Jacob snapped towards him.

Hearing the two wolves growl, Skarlet looked in their direction.
Although she had a dislike in them, she was greatful they were there.

"Thank you." she said walking to the end of her side of the border.
All the wolves look at her, Sam giving a nod.
She remembered which one was Jacob, and she eyed him down. For some
reason Jacob couldn't seem to look away now.

"Jacob, may I talk to you privately." she asked, causing her
family to look at her suspiciously.

*Don't worry.* she thought in her head.

With that she walked away from everyone, disappearing behind the
large forest trees. Not knowing what the hell to do, Jacob
remained where he was.

*Hello are you going to follow her!* Pauls voice rang
in his head.

*I don't know.* came the reply.

*Don't fight it Jake, it will only get worse for you.* This
time is was Sams voice.

*Dude, if you don't follow her I will!* Paul said, with
a laugh, which sounded more like a grunt to the Cullens.

Jacob looked at Carlisle, as if asking him what should
he do. With a smile, Carlisle tilted his head in the direction
in which Skarlet walked.

Jacob finally walked away, following after Skarlet.
