For What You Are

New

The light of a new moon was shining on the cliffs as wind buffeted against Jayne’s slight body. With her knees held up to her chin she was comfortable, but not cold. She didn’t know how long she’d been up there but she did know that she would be coming down soon. It had been too long. She’d been alone for too long.

Her ripped jeans and loose shirt billowed in the wind as she stepped away from the waves crashing below her back towards civilisation where a new world waited. A world that she could see through new eyes.

Kanuea had been the catalyst for her change.

Now she was going home to fight the Originals, for the last time, on an even footing.
