John.

I felt her soft lips being pressed to my neck as her wondering hands found themselves at the bottom of my shirt. I grabbed her hips pulling her on top of my body as her legs went on either side of my body. Her lips found that spot on my neck that drove me crazy, I thanked god for a quick learner of a girlfriend. Her hips being pressed into mine roughly were making it hard to not think about the boner that was on the rise. I tried my hardest to think of anything, anything to keep the rocket on the ground. My hands rolled down her hips before gripping her ass.

“Babe.”

“Sorry”, I said in a low groan sliding my hands back up to her waist. “It’s just hard not to.”

She let out a laugh as I rolled her on her back letting my lips trail down her neck. The moan leaving her lips telling me that she was enjoying it which meant I was going to enjoy her moans.

I didn’t know what to say, I didn’t do shit for the girl. It’s not like I could, the only thing I could do was respect her and love her. I leaned in pressing my lips against hers.

“I’m lucky to have you beautiful.”

“I’m lucky to have you too sweetheart.”

“I love when you call me that”, I said pressing her lips against hers in a brief kiss.

She let out a small giggle before giving me another sweet kiss. “I love you.”

“I love you too.”

I leaned in pressing my lips against hers in a much needed kiss. Our heated kiss leaving us in a gasp of air. I sat up as I pulled her body on top of mine, leaving tender kisses on her lips down to her neck. I pulled away from her intoxicating skin to look into her beautiful eyes. Her lips spread into a huge smile before they were being pressed against mine in another heated kiss. A kiss that was different from any other kiss I shared with a girl. She pulled away from my body with a smile on her face as she lifted her arms up in the air.

“You’re adorable.”

She didn’t say anything as I pulled the long sleeve shirt over her head and on to the floor next to her vest. I looked down at her chest, my mouth watering at the thoughts going over in my head. I pulled my eyes away from her chest before looking into her blue eyes, putting my arms up in the air. She let out a laugh before pressing her soft hands to my chest pulling off my shirt. Her lips pressed to my chest giving me soft and passionate kisses.

That's when i felt my hands making their way to her chest pulling out her breast from the flowered bra that was in front of me. I let my tongue flick across her nipple as she moaned out in pleasure. Her fingers running their way through my hair as i sucked on the nipple.

“I need to talk to my parents.”

My body cringed at the thought, the look of fear in her eyes. I rubbed her back soothingly scared for her as well as myself. All I could do was think about all the scary ways her father was going to kill me.

“It’ll be okay babe”, I said giving her a tender kiss on her lips. “I’ll pick you up after, okay?”

“Okay.”

She gave me another kiss before whispering I love you in my ear. I watched her stand up to grab her clothing on the floor. I watched her slowly get dressed taking her time, worried about what her parents were going to say. I stood up from my bed walking her out of my house, still shirtless. I got to the door, Alison turned to look at me with a scared look making her look even more adorable. I grabbed her into a hug kissing the top of her head before smiling down at her.

“I love you.”

“I love you too.”

With a kiss goodbye she walked out to her car. I walked up the stairs to get dressed before driving off to the hospital. I walked into that cold building wishing I brought my hoodie. When I walked down the halls I saw two unfamiliar faces outside of Daisy’s room, I felt my heart break as I sped down the hallways feeling as though someone kicked me in the balls.

“Is she okay, what’s going on?” I asked as I saw Kathy talking to the older couple, I peered inside the room and saw the angel fast asleep in her bed. A copy of A Walk to Remember faced down on her lap.

“John, calm down everything is fine”, Kathy said as the two older people stared at me in confusion. “John these are Daisy’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. King.”

A sigh of relief rushed through my body as I looked at the older couple. I put out my hand in front of Mr. King as he politely shook it.

“So this is the famous John our daughter has been talking about.”

“Yeah”, I said with a smile looking into the room to see Daisy fast asleep. “Your daughter is amazing sir, I love that girl.”

“She’s something else, isn’t she?”

“Oh yeah”, I said with a laugh. “Alison and I adore her.”

“How do you know Alison?” Mr. King asked looking at me, looking like a father type.

“They’re in love”, Mrs. King said with a warm smile. “Daisy told us all about the story.”

“I’m sure she did.”

“Alison is an amazing girl son”, he started looking down at me. “Treat her right.”

“I will sir.”

“Where have you been all day honey?”

I looked up from the scattered around plate up to see my Mom looking over at me with a smile on her face. I looked away from her to a very curious father staring at me.

“I hung out with John”, I said looking back down at the plate.

“What did you guys do?”

Oh you know, almost have sex. Again. “We just hung out watching movies and then he had to go visit Daisy.”

“Well that sounds like fun honey.”

I nodded my head before moving around the pasta that was spread out on the plate. My stomach hurting and all I wanted to do was just find some guts to tell them.

“What are you going to do once school starts?”

I looked up at my Dad, a smile on his face. To him he already chose what school I was going to go to since I was born.

“We’ll be fine.”

“Going to try a long distance relationship?” my Mom asked with a smile.

“I hope not”, My Dad said taking a drink of his water. “That would be a waste of time and you need to spread your wings and meet new people.”

I nodded my head feeling my cheeks burning up, I needed to puke. I have never gone against what my parents wanted me to do, but that all changed the day I met John.

“Are you okay honey, you look pale?”

“I’m fine.”

“You sure honey?”

“Yeah Mom, thank you”, I said with a smile.

“So when do we start packing you up?”

“Trying to get rid of me?”

“Of course not honey, I’m just excited for everything”, he said with a warm smile. “Going to be a sad day when I have to say goodbye to my baby.”

“You’re not going to have to say goodbye”, I said in a low whisper.

“What do you mean?”

I looked up at my Dad whose smile was fading each second I didn’t speak. I looked over at a very confused Mother before looking back down at my plate.

“I’m not going to USC.”

“UCLA then?”

“No.”

“Please enlighten me what school you decided to go to?”

I heard the anger oozing from my Father’s voice. I felt my body shake and my hands were suddenly becoming very clammy.

“ASU.”

“ASU?!”

“Honey please sit down”, my Mom said as my Dad stood up in anger. “Just calm down.”

“NO!” he yelled as I looked into his eyes, scared for my life. “Is this because of that boy?!”

“No.”

“Bulllshit!” he yelled, the first time I have heard a curse word come from my Father’s mouth. “I don’t want you to see him anymore.”

“Dad-“

“No Alison!” he yelled as the vein in his neck was throbbing. “This is the stupidest thing that has ever come out of that mouth of yours. Are you an idiot?”

“Rick!”

“No Lori, she’s being a fucking idiot!” I felt the tears welling up in my eyes. “You’re going to USC and that’s it.”

“No.”

“What?!”

I stood up from my seat, looking my Dad straight in the eyes. Gaining confidence in the anger that was boiling up in me.

“I said no. You’ve planned out my whole life and for once I want to make a decision my own.”

“What a great decision Alison, I thought I raised you better”, he said as my Mom stayed quiet with her head in her hands. “You are not to see that boy anymore. Filling your mind with nonsense and you’re going to USC and that’s final. Now sit down and finish your food.”

I looked over at my Father as he sat down in his chair, the anger leaving his body as he relaxed thinking he had the last word. But he was wrong, I didn’t sit down. I walked out of the house ignoring the yells from both parents as I drove off. The tears in my eyes were driving me crazy and making it hard to see. My fogged up glasses were making the drive harder than it should be. When I got to the house I walked straight up to that familiar door, holding in the river of tears that were itching to come out. I took my pale hand and knocked on the wooden door.

“Alison?”

“Hi Mrs. O’Callaghan”, I said choking back the tears. “Is John here?”

“Yeah honey, he’s in his room”, she said as she moved to the side so I could walk in. “Is everything okay?”

“Not right now.”

I let the tears fall down my face; I wasn’t able to control it anymore. That’s when I felt Mrs. O’Callaghan grab me into a tight hug rubbing my back as I cried into her shoulder.

“Hey Mom, Alison?”

I looked up to be met with a pair of concerned green eyes. I whipped away the tears as I stepped away from Mrs. O’Callaghan. I gave him a fake smile as he got closer.

“What’s happened babe?”

“They didn’t take it well”, I said with a small laugh before a single tear fell from my face.

That’s when I felt his strong arms being wrapped around me; I let the tears fall as his hands rubbed my back and the back of my head. I looked up after all the tears to see that John and I were still standing there in the doorway, alone.

“I love you Alison.”

“I love you too.”

“Let’s get out of here.”

And I followed; he drove off to the parking lot. We sat on his car roof in complete silence, his hand in mine. I looked up at the setting sun watching, the tears finally able to give it a rest.

“You don’t have to stay.”

“I want to.”

“You know I love you right?”

“Yeah.”

“You know I want the best for you?”

I turned to look at him before nodding my head with a smile. I looked at his long sandy hair and those beautiful green eyes. Those strong bone structures and that beautiful smile that made my heart melt. Too say I was in love with him was an understatement; I was madly in love with him. No one has ever made me feel the way he does, make me feel wanted, loved and complete.

“Tell me you love”, I said looking into his honest eyes.

“I love you Alison, more than anything.”

“Then everything will be alright”, I said as he nodded his head. “You will always have my heart John, no matter what.”

He grabbed my face with his rough hands, looking into my eyes. I felt his soft lips against mine making my whole body go numb. He pulled away with his forehead against mine.

“You’ve had my heart in your hands for a very long time”, he said with a laugh. “It will always belong to you and nobody else.”

And in that moment, I believed him.
