Bittersweet
They say that love is unstoppable, that it is all-powerful and irresistible. It can come from nowhere and make the strong weak, the rich poor, and the vain humble. It knows no limits and consumes everything that it touches. Yet it is the most beautiful, decadent, sought after thing in the world. Everyone lives for their once chance to love and be loved. For that one person who changes forever the way we view the world. Anything for that one chance at the pinnacle life experience. Some would even throw themselves into the hands of death for the one they love.
It was a bittersweet tragedy, beginning and ending with the quest for love. The price was much more than either of us expected to pay, but in the end, it didn’t matter. We both found what we were looking for….
