He hit the water with a thump
He never seen the mass of twisted metal that lay just below the water
We seen the blood that spread out from the spot he landed,

The voice belongs to Nathanial

Darkness

Creaks and Whines of the house
Dripping of the bath tub faucet
I get up to try to stop the dripping
Someone has put in the stopper
The bathtub is running over
‘’SHIT!’’ I yell yanking for the stopper
The water ripples as I plunge in my arm
The ripples don’t stop the shadow from appearing on the surface
‘’Why?’’ it whispers picking me up to face it

‘’Nathaniel.’’ I managed to whisper through quaking lips
‘’Yes’’ he says pushing me back

I can’t see, everything’s dark

Light
I broke through the surface
Gasping
Fighting for air
I claw my way from the bathtub
Tears mixing in with the water
There Nathaniel stands hovering over me
He leans down
He and I are both soaked to the bone
