Chapter Ten

"Hadley, get your ass up."

I was comfortable and I wasn't moving.

"Fine."

I felt someone jump on top of me.

"FUCK!" I yelled. I opened my eyes and saw Wednesday.

"Get your fat ass off of me."

"My ass is NOT fat." He replied climbing off of me.

"I beg to differ. Where's Jamey?"

He rolled his eyes, "She's in the living room with your dad and Acey."

I squealed and Wednesday grimaced.

"Hey Wednesday?"

"What?"

"Give me a piggy back ride downstairs?" I pouted.

"Fine, but you might want to change."

"Mkay. Go outside then."

He walked out my door and I changed out of my shorts and I pulled on some pj pants and a hoodie over my tank top.

I walked out side my room and hopped on Wednesday's back. We do this all the time when we see each other. I'm practically his other daughter.

"ACEY!!" I yelled hopping off of Wednesday and running over to Acey.

"Hey Hadley." He said hugging me. "How are you?"

"I'm just fine. How are you?"

"The same."

I sat down on the couch in between Acey and Jamey.

"So what have you been up to?" Wednesday asked.

"Work and partying pretty much." I replied.

"And your mom knows about the parties?" Acey asked.

"Nope and its gonna stay that way." I replied.

"Mkay."

"How is Trashlight going?" I asked Acey.

"Pretty good. Our cd is coming out in July."

"Coolness. I'll definitely get it then."

My cell phone rang and Alan showed up on the screen. I hit the ignore button.

"Who was it?" Jamey asked.

"Alan."

"I thought you liked him" Dad said.

I shrugged.

"Liked who?" Mom asked as she walked into the living room.

"Alan." I said.

"I hope you don't like him. Hello Acey and Wednesday."

"Hey Piper." Acey said. Wednesday just waved. He doesn't like my mom most of the time.

Jamey grabbed my cell phone.

"I'm calling him back."

I rolled my eyes.

"Jamey."

She walked out side to sit on the porch. I followed her.

"Jamey, if you're calling him to get more coke, then hanging up the phone."

"I'm not calling for that, okay?"

"Yeah, whatever." I knew she was lying..and I knew nothing good was going to come out of it.
