My Only Sunshine

I'll start by saying through-out my life, I've always known that I was indeed, a fuck up. I wasn't the skinniest, or prettiest. I wasn't the smartest either. I didn't have 'style' or class for that matter... like the rest of the people in my so-called 'family'. I was a disgrace to everyone, and I always let everyone down because they expected to much out of me.

Except for one person, his name was Matthew Charles Sanders... or Mattie, as I called him. He's my best friend, I love him more than anything in the world. He was the only one that cared about me... the only one who actually loved me. He never expected anything out of me besides being his best friend.

When I was sixteen, Mattie saved me from myself, and ever since he's been the sunshine of my world. He is my sunshine, my only sunshine. And I'll love him more than he'll ever know.
