Faithless-Faceless

Faithless-Faceless

As the church doors slowly opened I could feel the cold breeze flow out it sent a penalizing shiver up my spin. I stood there for a bit feeling the evil around this place I decided to just take a deep breath to calm myself. I needed to see for myself I took a deep breath but as I breathed in the smell of rotting corpse burned my nostrils and the stench of blood was all over this place what happened here that should be incentive enough to leave but for some reason I continued.

I cautiously stepped into the unholy old church as I was walking through the first pitch-black room I felt as if I was slowly walking into hell itself and that I could not hope to save this place from the devils unsanctioned grip. I griped my silver cross around my neck as I reached into my pocket with my shaky other hand I scarcely pulled out my trusty red flashlight time to shed some light on this I said as I turned it on the site I seen was extremely gruesome a man wearing holy white cloths smeared in blood with his face completely missing all you could see was the thick bones of his face even the muscles had been torn from his once complete face as I moved my flashlight around the little room I seen some sick sadistic writing the murderer had done in the poor priests blood it read faceless I could not take the harrier anymore I quickly turned to leave this unholy massacre the light on my flashlight moved over bodies all pined up on the walls like some sort of as semblance of prizes and winnings I felt my heart sink into my stomach as I turned to the door and seen a man standing there in the darkness of the shadows as he slowly paced foreword each step he took I could hear bouncing off my eardrum like a gunshot to my head he kept pacing foreword in till he was mere inches away from my face he was a relatively skinny man about the same height as me wearing a full suit but the main feature that anyone would have noticed is his face was nothing but a skull like the others who had been butchered on the walls he stared deeply at me with what was left of his one deep dark blue eye and said ``what a pretty face you have my dear``
