I don’t know how long I was lying on my bed in my dark room when there was a soft knock on my door.
“Go away”
Instead of going away whoever it was opened my door, came in, and shut it behind them.
I heard them walk closer to me and lay down next to me.
“Pink?”
“What Pansy?”
“I hate when you call me Pansy”
“It’s your name”
“Whatever”
“What do you want?”
“What happened between you and Poison?”
“None of your business”
“Well you yelled at him and stormed away. Something obviously happened”
I looked over my shoulder at Lavender just lying there staring at the ceiling.
“He told me his name”
Lavender looked over at me.
“His real name?”
“Yes”
“Holy shit”
“Yeah there you go Lav”
“Why?”
“How the hell would I know? I told him not to tell me and he still did!”
“…what is his name?”
“I’m not telling you Lav. If he wants to blab it out to everyone here than he can go on ahead and do so”
“The other guys probably already know what his real name is”
“How you figure?”
“Well Kobra Kid is Poison’s little brother”
“No shit”
“Yes and they grew up with Jet Star and Fun Ghoul”

“But that’s nice of you to not tell his name on him”
“Why would I do a jerky thing like that?”
“I don’t know. It’s just still nice of you”
“Whatever Lavender just drop it”
“…go tell him your name”
“No way in hell”
“Fine then I’ll send him in here and you can tell him in here”
“I said no way in hell Pansy”
“Don’t make me use YOUR name Pink”
I glared at Lavender.
“You wouldn’t dare”
“Oh we both know I would”
“Don’t you dare fucking do that”
“Then tell him what your name is”
“No”
“Why not?”
“Because if I tell him then he’s forever linked to me”

“Yeah exactly. Whoever knows my name is forever linked to me and if I’m captured and they figure out a way to read into my power then they will know everyone’s real name and be able to use it against them. I won’t do that to them”

“No Lavender”

“I said NO Kai Aurora Daniels”
“And I say you should Hope Grace Jameson”
I just rolled back over and faced the wall my bed was against.
I heard Lavender sigh, get up off my bed and leave.
But I wasn’t going to tell him…I wasn’t going to tell Gerard, I mean Poison my real name.
I wasn’t going to link him to me like that.
I wasn’t going to risk taking him down with me after all I did to save him.
