Girl, I'm Going Crazy for You.

I had lost track of how many days I had been home for, but I knew that soon it was going to be time for me to go back on tour.
Tonight was the show we were playing close to home, but thankfully Jess was coming, there is no chance of her going into labor tonight, we are expecting Melody next week maybe, I just couldn't wait. I want to be a dad now.

I was looking in the full body mirror fixing my hair, and then I noticed Jess waddling into the bedroom,
"What's up babe?" I asked still looking at my reflection,
"Not much, just thinking about how I'm going to be jealous tonight" she said with a smirk,
I walked over to her and rested my forehead against hers 'Why would you be jealous?" I asked,
"Because all these girls trying to take your clothes off" she answered,
She pushed me against the bedroom wall and stared me in the eyes, her face was close to mine the tips of our noses were touching,
"You know there is only one girl that can take my clothes off" I said smirking,
I kissed her lips roughly gripping under her chin with my hands and pulling her face close,
I licked her bottom lip and pulled her on to her tippy toes.

We shared a make out session and then we heard a knock at the front door,
"I will answer it, you keep getting ready" said Jess and kissed me quickly before walking away.
I stood there for two seconds and then thought about what I was doing before I got distracted.
I grabbed the small bag that I take to venues and stuffed some spare clothes in there, and my box of stuff.
and I grabbed my blackberry, and my iPod and shoved them in my bag.
My bass guitar was already at the venue, ready to go.

I put my bag on my back and walked out into the living area,
I felt like I was going back to school, for some unknown reason. I shuttered at the thought of the hell that I went through in my school years, getting stuff smashed against my head, bashed up, getting my pants pulled down.
So glad it's all over.

I went into the kitchen and grabbed a can of Jack Daniels out of the fridge, I'm sure one can won't hurt.
I opened it and took a sip and then walked into the living area and sat down on the couch arm,
John and Miranda had arrived and Miranda was rubbing Jess's baby bump and smiling,
they were amused by it kicking, John was the most amused he would put his face up to it and wait for the kick,
and as soon as it kicked he acted like it hurt.

Jess turned her head and noticed me sitting there "You ready to go Stephen?" she asked,
I nodded and took a sip of my can and stood up, I fixed my bag so it was straight and walked over to Jess and helped her to her feet.
Miranda and John left the appartment, and Jess and I shared a quick kiss before turning the lights off,
and walking out, I locked the door and placed the key in the bottom of my bag.

Miranda was driving us to the venue, it was good. Her driving was good, better then anyone elses's,
so I knew we were going to arrive alive. "You excited for tonight?" asked Miranda to me,
I nodded "Yeah it should be great" I answered.
Jess leaned against my arm, and wrapped hers around it and grabbed my left hand, and started to rub it.
I turned my head around and kissed the top of her head "You okay?" I asked,
She nodded "Yeah it's just.." she mumbled "I am going to miss you when you leave again",
I hugged her close and kissed her head again "I'm going to miss you more" I said.
"I don't want you to leave" she said and looked me in the eyes, "I hate you being in a band".
I sighed "I can't give up the band" I whispered. I had to whisper it if John heard this he would kill me for even having this conversation.
Jess nodded "I know" she whispered back "It's just going to be hard to raise a baby on my own".
She didn't say anything else she just kept looking forward, and that's when it got in my head.

How was I supposed to be a good dad if I was on tour? it would be the most difficult thing ever.
I looked out the window and noticed that we were close to the venue, because I could see the line of people.
Some of them had blankets, so I knew that they camped out over night. I love it when fans do that, they are so dedicated.

I undone my window and stuck my head out the window "HELLOOOOO BALTIMOREEEEEE" I screamed,
all the fans turned their heads, and started screaming and a whole heap of bras got thrown at Miranda's car.
One landed on the windscreen, making John scream.
Miranda turned around and glared "When we park you are getting that bra off my window" snapped Miranda,
I nodded and didn't say anything, and started putting the window back up.

I was sitting backstage hugging Jess tight, Because they can had finished their set, so we were going to go on in 5 minutes.
I was supposed to be with the rest of the band, but just I couldn't leave her here it was too hard.
"Stephen we need you" said John and dragged me off the couch. I sighed and kept going, I looked back at Jess she was smiling and waving at me, and then Miranda joined her on the couch.

"Okay so are we ready?" asked Jess,
We all nodded and did our normal before a show routine, and got ready to go on.
I strapped my bass guitar on me, and grabbed my pick and placed it in my mouth,
I was standing on the side of the stage and I could hear the crowd screaming "The Summer Set",
I loved the sound of it.

I looked over at the other side of the stage and Brian nodded towards me, which means it was time to take a step into the spotlight.
I walked on stage and a billion high pitched screams projected around the venue,
I heard a few "I LOVE YOU STEPHEN MARRY ME!" I just smiled towards the screamer and winked.
I took one last look on the crowd, and listened to Jess doing the intro beat on her drums, and then we started off with Chelsea.

"Okay everyone how are you?" asked Brian into the microphone,
he got a massive scream from the crowd, "That's good" said Brian again,
"Now my friend Stephen Gomez over here, he has something to say" he pointed towards me,
I smiled and nodded and I grabbed my microphone "I would like my beautiful girlfriend to come out on stage please",
no one made a sound as Jess walked out on stage, they all just glared at her, Josh came running on stage with a stool and placed it near Jess, and helped her sit down.

"Now this next song, is a cover" I said into the microphone "A cover of Taylor Swift".
The crowd screamed and Jess looked at me and mouth 'What are you doing?'
I didn't say anything, but I got down on my knee and grabbed her hand,
and started singing:
"insert chorus to mine here that the guy sings".

Jess didn't say anything the crowd screamed, they weren't screaming for the sweetness, they were screaming because they heard me sing. I get spammed on twitter every day, people telling me to sing, it's just that sometimes I don't feel like singing,
but tonight I did. Tonight I wanted everything out in the open.
I wanted everyone to know Jess Barakat was the best thing that's ever been mine.

Jess's P.O.V

After the concert we went out to some place for a after party, it was Brian's idea.
I was dancing slowly with Stephen his eyes were looking directly in mine, I turned away and blushed,
"What's wrong?" he asked,
I turned back to him still blushing "Nothing' I said and kissed him.
Josh walked over to us, and stood there for about ten minutes until we gave him our full attention,
he handed Stephen something, but I didn't notice what it was. Stephen nodded and Josh and then he left.
Stephen wrapped his arms around my waist again and pulled me close, "I love you" he said stared into my eyes,
"I love you too" I said,
Stephen pulled away from me and then stood on the chair behind him "CAN EVERYONE STOP DANCING FOR A MOMENT" yelled Stephen.
Everyone stopped and the Dj stopped playing music even, and then a spotlight landed on Stephen and I.
Stephen placed one hand in his back pocket, and got down on his knee and grabbed my hands.
"Jess Barkat" said Stephen and pulled his hand from behind his back in front of him, I noticed a small box in his hand.
Oh my god he was proposing. My heart started racing and then that's when I felt a lot of pain in my stomach, and everything felt strange and wet.
"Will you marry me?" he asked,
Do I say yes now? I do I tell him that I'm about to give birth to his child,
My arms started shaking, and then I finally got it out "Yes" I said happily.
Everyone clapped and cheered and Stephen stood up and hugged me and kissed me,
"Forever and always babe" he whispered in my ear.
"Stephen?" I whispered,
"yeah?" he whispered back.
"My water broke"I whispered.

Stephen rushed me inside the emergancy room with Josh, Jess, Brian, John and Miranda.
Josh ran over to the desk and told them that I was going through labor,
I was crying and screaming, there was so much pain going through my stomach at the moment,
Stephen rubbed my back "It's okay Jess, you will be okay" he said,
Brian ran over to the side and grabbed me a wheelchair, and helped me sit down.
"I will call your mum" said John and walked off into the corner.

A doctor came out and pushed my wheelchair towards a room,
"Stephen" I cried,
"I'm here Jess" he said and grabbed my hand and ran along the side of the wheelchair, "I'm going to be here the whole time".
The doctor sat me on a bed, and helped me get changed into a hospital dress, and got everything ready.
Stephen took a seat next to the bed and gripped my hand, they had him wearing one of those doctors surgery scrubs, and he looked so cute in it. I smiled at it and then I felt a sharp pain which made the smile fade away.
I screamed so loud, "FUCKKKKKK" I screamed, "Where's Miranda",
Stephen rubbed my head wiping all the moisture from it "You can only have one person in here" he explained,
I tried letting out a nod, but I just screamed,
"Get my fiance pain killers or something" cried Stephen.

Fiance, he called me his fiance, I smiled at it and then the pain was ignored for a while,
but then of course it came back, "We can't give her pain killers" said the doctors, "She is allergic to them",
he was right. I am. If I have them my throat closes up and I die. So I was just going to have to suffer through his pain.
I let out another scream, and then the doctor positioned himself ready for the birth.
"Okay Jess" he said "I need you to push".

I nodded and gripped Stephen's hand as I pushed, I grunted and screamed, it was so hard.
"Push babe push" cried Stephen as he squeezed my hand hard.
I squeezed it back and pushed again harder this time.
"You are doing well just two more" said the doctor.

Two more? did he realize how difficult this was, I can barely do one more.
But if it was going to get me out of this pain quicker then fine I will do it. I grabbed Stephen's hand and looked at him as I pushed harder then before, then again.
I was about to pass out and I was running out of breath, and that's when I heard it the crying of a baby.
I watched Stephen's face, he had a tear fall from his eye.
I caught my breath, and looked at the small figure the doctor was holding,
he walked over to the sink and washed all the blood off the figure and walked back over to the bed, and handed the figure to me,
"It's a girl" he said and placed the baby in my arms.
I looked down at the bundle of joy, she had Stephen's nose and my lips.
I looked up at Stephen he leaned over and placed his pinky near the baby's hands, and she wrapped them around his pinky.
He smiled, and kissed my head.

"Does that baby have a name?" asked the nurse.
Stephen nodded and smiled down at her. "Her name is Melody, Melody Marie Gomez" he answered,
the nurse nodded and wrote down the details, "Can we please take Melody for a moment we need to weigh her" said the nurse.
I nodded and handed her my baby, and then watched as she went and weighed her, I turned and looked at Stephen,
he was still crying. "You okay?" I asked and stroked his face,
he turned to me "Never better' he cried and kissed my cheek.

John and Miranda walked in with the others and they were amazed about how cute Melody was.
"She looks like her mum" said John,
Everyone agreed, and then Josh laughed "Jess you are now a milf" teased Josh,
Stephen glared at him, and then laughed "Josh you are so messed up sometimes' said Stephen,
Josh laughed "I was just telling the truth" said Josh and sat down on the bed,
"Can I have a hold now?" asked Stephen,
I nodded and slowly passed him Melody, he looked down at her and smiled,
he rubbed her cheek and she started to suck on his finger, he smiled bigger down at there,
"She is so beautiful" whispered Stephen, "My beautiful daughter".

"Hey stop hogging the bub I want a turn" whined John and started jumping around.
I laughed "Oh John" I said,
John stood staring down at Stephen waiting for him to give Melody up.
Stephen finally got sick of hearing John whinge "Stephen", and handed him Melody.

John smiled down at her and sat down, "She is so cute" said John.
Miranda looked down at her "My god daughter is going to be beautiful" said Miranda.
Everyone had a hold of Melody, and then I placed her back in the little bed the doctors had brought in,
the room door opened and a nurse walked in "Okay visiting hours are over" she said,
everyone nodded and said their goodbyes except Stephen.

He was going to stay the night with me, the nurse looked down at Stephen "Do you need a spare bed in here?" she asked,
Stephen shook his head "No thanks" he answered.
She nodded 'Goodnight then" she said and walked out of the room.

Stephen grabbed Melody out of her bed, and held her in his arms, and then he climbed in the bed I was in, and laid beside me,
he placed Melody in between, and we both looked at her,
"Think we now are a family' I said,
Stephen smiled 'Yeah, now everything is more perfect' he spoke.
