Ah, Mystic Falls, the town that I now call home. It doesn’t seem like it’s going to be that bad of a place and surely, it’s going to take a little bit of time to adjust but I’ll manage. However, I can’t help but to feel empty inside. There’s a part of me missing, a huge part of my life is gone and things just won’t be the same without him around. I wonder if he’ll ever come back. I wonder why he even left in the first place. Mom, of course, was vague like she has been since he left, saying that she doesn’t have any explanation that makes sense. What possible reason for leaving could not make any sense? Unless, he’s been living some kind of crazy double life...

In Mystic Falls, every family seems to harbor a secret of some sort and the Browns will be no exception. What kind of secret could it possibly be when they don't even seem to have the slightest clue about it?
