A couple of weeks ago I was at The Refuge, a building where the youth group meets on Wednesdays, and I was standing there talking to my best friend about how we tell everyone that we're cousins but we really aren't and she says, a little too loud, "You will be if you marry Caleb." Caleb is her older cousin who I happen to have very strong feelings for.
Anyways, the whole thing with Caleb is supposed to be a secret and my friend said that quite loud, loud enough for anyone who happened to be walking by or something to hear. The possibility of someone hearing that embarrassed me more than her saying it.
