Nerds Need Love Too

I sat in lunch watching all the people run around and chatter aimlessly. High school is like jail but better clothes and sometime the food, besides that everything sucks. I throw away of what’s left on my tray I keep walking to the small courtyard that only upperclassmen sit in. It is very sunny out and my skin is glowing I smile and think of what my brother would say. I find a spot under a tree but I am not shaded enough the sun feels good. I fix my glasses and enjoy the peace of being alone outside, I heard laughing I looked up and saw two girls sitting at a table not to far from me, one of the girls caught my stare and looked back

“Who is that?” she said softly

I played with some grass pretending not to hear them speaking. The girl who I was watching before was tan and had long dark brown hair it was down her butt, and her eyes were piercing

“That’s Kai he is hangs with no one and is a huge nerd. He is always making honor roll” the other girl said

She on the other hand had too much makeup on, bleach blonde hair and looked like a orange highliter. I huffed and stood up the girls watched as I came over to them

“The proper way to say is I don’t hangout with anyone. I find most of you simple” I said before turning and walking away

Before I went in glanced over at the perfect girl laughing at something i said.
