“He called you easy and grabbed me” I said

She looked up at me and kissed my cheek

“He is just mad that you have me and he doesn’t” she said

I laughed

“Want to skip the rest of the day?” she asked

I nodded and stood up. She walked next to me just as the bell rang and I could already see the blue varsity jackets

“Look it’s nerd boy and Val” David shouted in the hallway

Val grabbed my hand and held it up with a wide smile on her face

“Fuck yeah I’m with him!” she shouted

I smiled at her

“Any of you bitches got any fucking thing to say please come tell me or Kai. Oh and ask David what happen to his face!” she shouted pulling me toward the front doors

I looked back and saw David’s angry form. I began laughing very hard as Valora and I walked toward my car

“You’re so funny” I said between breaths

She smiled and let go of my hand which I now noticed. I looked up at her and she still look flustered

“Hey do you want to go to a party on Saturday?” she asked

I tilted my head

“Haley is having a party to start off the new school year and I have to go” she said

I bit my lip and fixed my glasses

“Hmmm” I said opening the car door for her

She slid in and looked at my face like she was studying me. I got in and started the car

“Kai?” she said

I looked at her

“I’m thinking” I said

We drove back to her house in silence and I could tell it was bothering her. I got out and opened her door

“We can bring a majority of your things to my house” I said

She nodded and walked into the house. I followed her to her room and she fell back on her bed

“Those boxes are my clothes so I guess we should take all of them” she said softly

I picked up two and took them to the trunk of my car. When I got back in Valora had one big box in her hand, I took it and put it in the car

“Kai” she said softly

I turned and she was closer than I expected and I had my back against the car

“You don’t have to go if you don’t want to” she said softly

I furrowed my brow at her

“I wouldn’t let you go by yourself” I said

She looked taken back

“So that means if you didn’t want to go. You wouldn’t let me?” she asked

I nodded

She looked pissed now and I took a step around her

“What the hell it’s not my fault you don’t talk to anyone!” she shouted

I ignored her outburst and went to get the rest of her clothes. I could hear her stomping up the steps she walked in the room and pulled out her phone

“Sorry Haley I can’t go because Kai is anti social” she said loudly into the phone

I ignored her and got the bulk of the boxes

“I will be in the car” I said threw my teeth

I stormed out of her room and went to sit in my now full car. What the hell is her problem? I just don’t want to go to a party with people I hate. Minus Valora if she calms down

“Yeah I will talk to you later” she said into the phone

I drove fast to my home I just wanted to get all her things in and go read a book. I looked over and she her pouting her lips like a little kid

“I’m going weather you like it or not” she said when we got to my garage

I gripped the steering wheel till my pale skin looked white as snow

“Fine go have a fun fucking time! Just ignore me trying to get to know my future wife better” I growled at her

I saw guilt in her eyes and I got out of the car. I got some of the boxes and walked into the house

“Kai” she yelled

I ignored her calls and put the boxes in my room. I wanted to punch something so bad

“Kai!” she yelled

I pulled off my glasses and my shirt

“Uh” was all I heard

I went into my closet and put on some shorts and went back to put my glasses on. I looked and she was still standing watching me

“I’m going to the gym. I will get the rest of your things later” I said

She gulped and watched as I left but soon I heard her feet behind me. I turned and huffed at her

“What?” I asked irritated

She pushed me against the wall and looked in my eyes

“Don’t yell at me” she said softly
