Nerds Need Love Too

After I was done showering I got dressed and got Val's surprise. I ordered her ring after the first night I met her and it just got here. It was her engagement ring. I was in the kitchen drinking some juice when the doorbell rang

"Hello Ryan" I said letting him in

He waved and stepped

"Want somthing to drink?" I asked

He sat at the counter

"Water please" he said fixing his shirt

I got him the water and finished drinking my juice

"So how long have you and Val been together?" he asked

I laughed

"3 days" I said

He chuckled

"How did you meet?" he asked

I finished my juice

"Our parents put us in an arranged marriage. She is my soon to be wife" I said fixing my glasses

He laughed and looked at me in shock

"Wow your not mad at your parents?" he asked

I shrugged

"On one hand im getting married at 18 but on the other I actually like her and im looking foward to marrying her" I said wiping my mouth

He smiled

"Well im glad you finally have someone who isnt a dirty slut. I told you about that Mary but no" he said jokingly

I laughed and shook my head

"Alright boys let's go" Haley said

They both looked wonderful. Haley had on a pink dress and barely any makeup which made her look way diffrent. And Val when does she not look so good. Her silver dress look beautiful with her skin and her hair

"Val you look wonderful as always" I said kissing her forehead

She giggled

"So are we taking my Lexus?" I asked

Everyone nodded and we made it out to the garage. Ryan helped Haley in the back and I helped Val in the front

"Where to people?" I asked

Val had my card in her hand spinning it around

"I made reservations at Le Madaline" Ryan said

I nodded and drove in the direction. Val turned on some music she danced and sang to most every song. When we pulled up i gave the valet my keys and went to help Val

"Thank you Kai" she said holding my hand

We follwed Ryan in the restaurant and waited to be seated

"Can I see my surprise now?" she asked

I shook my head. She pouted and handed me her card

"Thank you and your no fun" she said nicely

I put my card in my wallet and looked back up at her. She was still pouting

"Oh no blue eyes you can wait for a bit" I said softly

She came over and hugged me. Haley and Ryan were in some sort of conversation when we all sat down

"So Kai tell me about yourself since you marrying my friend" Haley said finally looking at me

I smiled

"Im 17, I speak 15 diffrent languages, I study too much and I like books" I said

Val laughed

"Before high school squished you. He was super funny and he told the funniest stories" Ryan said

I chuckled

"Yeah football players and captains of the cheerleaders really squished me" I said drinking some water

They all laughed

"Mary told people Val and myself were lesbians. Val was super upset" Haley said

I looked at Val she was shaking her head

"Tell them what you did" Val said

Haley gave Ryan an innocent smile

"I broke her nose" she said sweetly

Ryan threw his arm up

"Good job!" he said hugging her

Haley blushed

"She was trying to talk to talk to me yesterday. And she was across the desk showing people her ass and I could see the pound of make up she had on. God that girl is full of herself but Haley here saved me from the skank" Ryan said rubbing her arm

I smiled at the two of them. The waitress came over and took our orders and Haley looked back to me

"I wanna see the surprise you have for my Valora" she said softly

I rolled my eyes

"Oh my goodness you two are so impatient" I said

Val and Haley did a nod at the same time

"Fine" I said getting up and pulling Val up with me

I dug the box out of my pocket and got on one knee

"Valora Graves will you marry me?" I asked opening the box

She gasped and nodded

"Yes" she said excitedly

I slid the ring on her finger and stood up. She hugged me and kissed me

"Oh my goodness I love it" she said looking down at the ring

The whole restaurant erupted in clapping and congrats. Val smiled and showed her hand to Haley

"Wow Kai has good taste it's beautiful" she said as we sat back down

Val grabbed my face and kissed me again. I smiled

"Oh my god" she said looking at the ring again

Ryan high fived me

"Congrats man" he said

I nodded. The food was brought to us and the waitress smiled down at both of us. We ate and chatted along till we were all full

"Im kinda tired" Val said

I nodded and looked at Ryan

"Well drop us off and Haley and myself will finish our date. And you two can chill" he said

I nodded

"Who's paying?" Val asked

I shrugged

"Kai and myself will split it. A lady should never pay" he said putting down a $50

I also put down a $50. Haley and Val had gotten up already and went to the bathroom

"Are you going to Haley's party on saturday?" Ryan asked

I nodded

"Blue eyes wants to go so yup" I said fixing my glasses

He chuckled

"Im glad you punched David and met Valora" he said

I gave him a confused look

"Cause you would have still been closed off and we would have never hung out again" he said rubbing his neck

I laughed and nodded

"I understand" I said patting her shoulder

Val and Haley came back and Val flashed me a smiled

"Tounge hurts a bit I need ice" she said clicking the ball on her teeth

I smiled and we got back to the car. Val held my hand the whole way as she chatted with Haley. When we got back to my house they hugged

"I will see you two at school. Have fun but not too much fun" Val said hugging Haley and hugging Ryan

They laughed

"Ok Val. See you later Kai" Haley said waving

I waved at the both of them. I pulled Val into the house and she ran upstairs

"I cant wait to get in my pj's" she said pulling off her heels

I followed her in the closet and we both changed. I caught her glancing at me and she caught me looking at her

"Wanna watch a movie?" I asked

She nodded. She had on a white t-shirt with a heart on it and looked way to small that she put with some tube socks with a red ring at the top. And of course no pants but she had superman underwear on

"We have a movie thearte up here too" I said walking her futher down the hall

Past my parents bed room we stepped in to the room. Val ran over and jumped in the pile of pillows near the huge fuffly couch

"Scary, comedy, or action?" I asked

She was putting her hair up in a ponytail

"Uh action. Oo do you have Avatar?" she asked

I nodded and found it. I turned the light off and grabbed two bottles of water. I streched out on the couch and gave a bottle to Val

"Hey why are you up there?" she asked taking the water I shrugged

She stood up and laid down on top of me with her head on my shoulder

"Do you ever wear pants?" I asked

She giggled

"Do you ever wear shirts?" she asked poking my stomach

I took off my glasses and put them behind me

"Shh" I said

She laughed and looked up at me

"I really like my ring Kai" she said softly

I smiled

"Of course you do I picked it out" I said

She bit my chest

"Shut up" she said

I laughed and we watched the movie. Im glad she liked it
