Nerds Need Love Too

I popped up to a loud irratating noise. The clock in this room was worse then ours I slammed the snooze button and laid back down. Kai was laughing hard

"I hate all the alarms in the house" I said in his shoulder

I sat back up and felt my face. I jumped over Kai and went into the bathroom

"Oh my fucking god!" I shouted

My eyes looked so puffy. I grabbed a washcloth and ran it under some warm water over it. Kai came into the bathroom rubbing his head

"I look awful" I said pressing the rag on my eyes

Kai was in here peeing while im trying to not look crazy

"How can you pee at a time like this?" I asked looking at him

He looked over at me and shrugged

"My bladder dosent know why your tear ducts did that" he said softly

I giggled and shook my head at him. When he finshed he washed his hands and started brushing his teeth

"Can we go back to our room please" I said

He nodded toothbrush still in his mouth grabbed his glasses then my hand and took me upstairs to the bathroom

"If you get some hot tea bags and put them on the puffy parts it will go down" He said

I looked at him

"Hey I have a mother and two sisters" He said

I put the rag back under the warm water

"You have other siblings?" I asked

He smiled and nodded

"I have three. But they are half siblings" He said taking his shirt off

How could he have siblings he is always alone

"My father cheated on my mother before they had me and they are triplets" He said turning the shower on

I nodded

"Well im gonn try that tea bag thing and I will be back" I said kissing his cheek

I left the room and went downstairs to the kitchen. I grabbed a cup and poured some water in it. I heated the water up and kept touching my face

"I hate crying" I said to myself

I felt my phone buzz in my pocket my mother had called me. I called her yesterday when Kai had came into the kitchen the last thing I heard from her was somthing about me loving him. When the microwave beeped i was standing in the kitchen thinking of what she said

'why is this making you so upset hunny? Usually you would have ignored him right back' she said

I shook my head

'Do you love him Valora? I have never heard of someone having this much of an effect on someone' she said almost in panic

Why would my mother panic about me loving Kai. Isn't that we are gonna eventually be feeling for each other we are getting married. But it's only been a week

"Hey!" Kai was behind me

I jumped and put my hand over my heart

"Sorry here put them on your eyes now" He was holding two tea bags

I pressed them softly on my eyes for a while. After 5 minutes Kai pulled them off

"All better now go get dressed" He said smiling

I giggled and ran up stairs. But I kept replaying in my head what my mother said. Could I love Kai so early?
