Val and I arrived at school she seemed really hyper

"Kai come here" She said

I leaned over and put my chin on my hand. She giggled and licked my nose

"What was the point of that Valora?" I asked

She shrugged and giggled some more. She looked so beautiful I didnt even want to leave the bed this morning next to her

"What are you looking at?" She asked

Her hair had soft curls and the red seemed brighter. Her blue eyes were darker

"You silly" I said

She took my glasses off and put them on

"Jeez you are blind" She said taking them back off

I laughed. She slid them back on carefully and fixed my hair

"You look so awesome with the industrial. And I think you are getting a bit tan" She said

She was right we were out in the sun long enoguh for my skin to take it in and I didn't look so pale. She rubbed her finger along my jawline

"And your getting blonde stubble" She said moving closer

I watched as her top lip twitched it always did when she wanted somthing. She was making that clicking noise with her tounge ring

"Come on Ryan wants you to make Haley happy" I said softly

I got out and went around to her side and opened the door. She got out and stood next to the car

"Why won't you kiss me?" She asked

I stood in front of her and shrugged. She crossed her arms across her chest and walked around me toward Haley. Ryan and Haley were laying in the grass. Ryan had his head on Haley's lap and she was leaning back against a tree

"Hello married people" Ryan said happily

Haley was looking at Val who was standing next to me with her arms crossed. The sun was out and I didn't want to be in the shade so I laid in the grass near Ryan and Haley. Val kissed Haley's cheek and told her she loved her

"Awww you too are so cute" Ryan said poking Val

She smiled and moved next to Haley with her back against the tree. She was trying to be happy I could tell but you could still see sadness in her eyes. Ryan looked over at me and gave me a confused look

"Kai please. Remember what I said yesterday" He said pleading

I sat up and moved in front of Val. She looked confused but I pulled her forward and kissed her roughly. She didnt move for a moment but she melted right into my hands. I had forgotten where we were and pulled back

"Be happy now" I said softly against her lips

Haley giggled and Ryan yelled

"My girlfriend smiles! finally" He shouted pulling Haley down and kissing her

Val was still leaning foward toward me. I rubbed my nose on hers and she giggling

"Silly Kai" She said softly

I looked over and saw Haley smiling down at Ryan

"Mabey we should go to a movie. It won't hurt to miss a day" I said to everyone

Ryan looked at Haley and she nodded

"Well we can chill at my hosue then. Go swimming, eat, watch movies" I said standing up and pulling Val with me

Ryan nodded and lifted Haley up with him. Val grabbed Haley's hand and they ran to the parking lot

"Girls" Ryan said

I put my arm out to him and he linked his through. We skipped over to the girls who were looking at us crazy

"You guys looked so cute doing that" Val said pinching my cheek

I shook my head

"Let's go to my house" I said

Ryan pulled Haley over to his car as I was opening the car door for Val

"What did Ryan ask you yesterday?" She asked when I got in the car

I started the car and tapped my fingers

"He told me to stop being an asshole because you being sad made Haley sad and he missed us all being happy" I said

She smiled

"You only talked to me cause he asked you to?" She asked pouting

I laughed

"No I talked to you cause.." I stopped talking

I couldnt just be right out with it. I bit my lip trying to think of how to say it.That noise she makes with her tounge ring was filling the silence

"Cause I didn't like seeing you sad and you were crying" I said softly

She smiled and nodded. I rubbed my head this was gonna be stuck in my head for a while. When we pulled into the garage I sat looking at the stering wheel for a while

"Kai" Val said softly

I looked over at her

"Tell me what your thinking?" She said softly

I put my head in my hands

"Honestly?" I asked

She nodded and pulled my over to look at her. She put her hand under her chin and waited. I looked down and was pulling at some string on my pants

" I-I think I love you" I said softly

She lifted my chin up to look at her

"I don't know I just have never felt this way about another person and it's strange. I love watching you wake up and when your thinking. That night you were drunk you looked so cute and your hair was all over. And when we were fighting I could not sleep at all cause you werent next to me. And when ever you kiss me my knees get all shakey" I said stopping my rambuling

She was rubbing my cheek and seemed to be thinking. Her tounge was hitting her teeth

"How long have you been thinking about that?" She asked finally

I shrugged

"You know it only been like a week Kai" She said

I moved and sat back in the seat. I knew i shouldn't have said anything

"Forget I said anything Val" I said getting out of the car

I knew I was gonna screw this up and make her feel uncomfortable. I walked in the house and went to open the front door. Ryan and Haley were sitting on the steps talking. They walked in still talking and I brought them into the living room

"Kai can you come here please" Val said from the other room

Haley and Ryan were still very into the conversations so I left the room and went to the kitchen. Val was sitting on the counter looking at her hands I stood acorss from here

"No come here" She said putting her arms out

I walked till I was in front of her hands and she was pulling me toward her. She rubbed her nose on mine

"What I was going to say before you left me in the car. I feel the same way about you dear I only said that thing about it being a week cause I don't know I was trying to figure it out myself. I love waking up and seeing your hair all over and your eyes are always this dark green color. When you and Ryan are together you guys act so silly and adorable. When we have sex how much passion you had in every kiss and touch goodness I was playdough in your hands. I see how people look at me and you together or even seeing me wearing this ring and it just makes me want to shout to everyone to fuck off" I cut her off and kissed her softly

She wrapped her arms around my waist and pulled back

"So I feel the same way about you as you do me and nothing could change my mind about it" she said softly touching my cheek

I smiled and kissed her again I pulled back and kissed all over her face. She giggled and let me kiss her face

"Valora Graves what is this?" Haley said coming into the kitchen

Val looked at me then back to Haley. They were playing

"No Hale im sorry he is just my husband I only want you I love you" Val said trying to move around me

I wrapped my arms around her and shook my head

"She is mine no one elses" I said toward Haley

Ryan ran in and hugged Haley

"Forget her you have me now" He said glaring at Valora

Val faked cried

"No Hale how could you. You sluttykins" She said trying not to laugh

Haley was giggling like a manic

"Sluttykins? really" She said

Val nodded and hugged me. Im glad she felt the same way about me
