Nerds Need Love Too

When the girls finally left Ryan and I went into my office down the hall

"So how is our birthday planning going?" Ryan asked

I smiled and pulled up everything on the computer

"Her cake is being made special and it will get at your house tommrrow. You sure your step-mom is cool with it?" I asked

He chukled and sat in the chair next to the desk

"Of course she loves you guys" He said

I nodded

"So I invited everyone she likes at school. Which means a few football players and no cheerleaders" I said getting Ryan to laugh

I went throught the rest of the plans and everything seemed to be on the right track

"Hey text Haley and tell her to get two dresses. One elegant and one for a party" I said

Ryan, Haley and I had been playing Val's birthday theese past couple of weeks. We had to threaten Haley not to tell Val

"She said Val thinks somthing is up" Ryan was looking at his phone

I smiled

"Of course she does" I said

~Val pov

"Wait why two dresses?" I asked

Haley was looking at her phone and smiling

"Bitch just get two dresses" She said happily

I laughed and looked around more. I had found the perfect dress for the engagement party. It was black and strapless it was tight around the waist and flowed down perfect

"You guys are planning somthing i know it" I said angrily

Haley huffed

"Can you shut up about it. So what if we are planning something stop trying to ruin it goodness" She said walking away from me

I stood there shocked. Why is she yelling at me? I went and sat on the couches in the shop. I didn't want to shop anymore

"Yeah she stopped shopping" I heard Haley behind me

"I told her to shut up she keeps going on about how somthing is going on. Even if there was why can't she just accept it when people are doing somthing nice for her" Haley said fustrated

I looked at my hand. Was I really being this childish about it?

"Fine you talk to her" Haley put the phone next to my face

"It's Kai" she said

I took the phone and huffed into the phone

"Blue what's wrong?" He asked softly

I was playing with my ring

"Haley yelled at me cause I keep saying you guys are planning things and not telling me" I said softly

I could hear his smile

"Then stop talking about it and have fun" He said softly

I rolled my eyes

"Yes dear" I said standing up

He chuckled

"I love you stop fighting and shop" He said

"I love you too" I said closing the phone

I walked over to Haley and hugged her

"Im sorry" I said softly

She kissed my cheek and nodded

"Im sorry too" she said back

She smiled and showed me a light pink dress

"This would look killer on you" She said holding it up to me

The dress was a pale pink with diamonds around the top and it flowed perfectly

"I like it" i said taking it from her hands

She nodded

"Help me find a dress now" She said pulling me to another rack

~ Kai pov

Ryan and I are currently in the movie thearter playing xbox. The girls had been gone for half of the day

"Hello!" I heard downstairs

Ryan laughed and ran out of the room. I walked into the hallway and saw Valora going into our room

"Hello dear" She said putting all her bags down

I picked her up and hugged her. She kissed my cheek and laughed

"My Val is turning 17 tommrrow!" I said putting her down

She shook her head at me and put away what she bought

"I got you somthing. But it's more or less for the both of us" She said shaking a bag

I put my hand out for it and she shook her head

"After our engagment party you will see it" She said

I pouted

"Give me a hint of what it is" I said softly

She smiled widely

"Sexy" was the only word she said

I smaked my head. When Val was done putting things away she went into the bathroom

"Im touching up this red" She said

I went into the bathroom and watched her mix the dye. When she started putting it in to her hair it looked like blood

"Gosh this stuff is cold" She said wiping it from around her forehead

She sat and waited 15 minutes then rinised it out. When she brought her head back up i was in shock

"It looks like the day you got it done but a bit brighter" I said touching it

She smiled and nodded. I remembered somthing

"I got you somthing" I said reaching in the drawer by the sink

She was blowdrying her head now. I had gotten her a new tounge ring

"Omg that is so cool" She squeaked

It was silver and sparkled all over. She stuck her tounge out and moved around. I took out her red one and put in the silver one

"Oh my goodness it's perfect" She said kissing me

I shook my head

"I assumed you would like it" I said

She finished blowdrying her hair then she looked over at me

"Your going to love my new dresses" She said jumping up and down

When we finally left the bathroom I heard a banging downstairs. Val looked at me confused

"Ryan and Haley left" She said softly

She grabbed my hand and pulled me out of our bedroom. When we got downstairs we saw nothing but bags at the front door. The kitchen light was on and I heard a female's voice

"Goddanm it" I yelled

Val looked confused

"Can you guys warn someone when you come over here jeez" I said pulling Val in the kitchen

I met the eyes of my two sisters and brother.
