Today went great and I could tell Val was having a great day. We are now sitting in the grass eating lunch
“I seriously can’t wait to show you my dress” She said feeding me fruit
I nodded and fixed my glasses. Everyone had their eyes glue to Val since the moment she walked in and I felt so proud to be standing next to her
“So what are we doing tonight that I need a dress?” She asked
I shook my head and opened my mouth for her to feed me. She gave me a look before giving me more fruit
“Kai this is unfair I feel like there is a big secret and everyone is in on it” She said getting closer to me
I pulled her face up and looked in her eyes
“You will be fine” I said softly
She slapped my chest and crossed her arms. I shook my head and put her back against my chest
“You will love it I promise. Stop pouting” I said
She shook her head. Ryan and Haley were reading something together and we were the only 4 people outside
“I’m going to do something bad that will make you stop pouting” I whispered in her ear
She bit her lip. I moved her hair and put my face in her neck and before I could open my mouth she screamed
“Ok ok I will stop pouting” She said
I bit her shoulder and leaned back up. Some people came out and were walking straight toward us
“Happy birthday Val” One girl said
Val smiled up at her and thanked her. Another person came over and gave her a vanilla cupcake with the number 17 on it. I smiled at it and Val took it happily she thanked them again and they all left
“It’s so cute” Val said softly
She sat up and turned around so she was looking at my face. I lifted my glasses up and rubbed my eyes
“Did you get me a cake?” She asked licking the cupcake
I nodded
“Is it pretty?” She asked
I nodded. She giggled and looked over at Haley and Ryan
“Are they gonna be in our wedding?” She asked I laughed
“Of course they are” I said softly
She ate her cupcake and went back to feeding me again
“Kai it’s my birthday why aren’t you feeding me?” She asked
I shook my head
“I need to wake up im tired from this morning” I said
She blushed and pushed her hair back. Haley and Ryan finally stopped reading or whatever and came over to join us
“Ok so your engagement party is going to be so freaking awesome” Haley said
I was still indifferent about this party don’t you have these parties when your close to getting married
“And your parents are giving or getting you guys some surprise” Ryan said
Val nodded and smiled and when she looked over at me she touched my hand
“Hunny relax. You love me right?” She asked
I nodded
“Of course I do” I said softly
She smiled and kissed my hand
“Good so you will have a good time and we can exclaim to everyone that we are happily together and everything will be perfect” She said
Haley awed at us. I nodded and kissed her wrist
“So after lunch we are going to what?” Ryan asked
I shrugged
“Things aren’t till later on we could take them shopping to pass time” I said
Val shook her head
“No I don’t wanna shop” She said
I laughed and nodded
“What do you want to do then birthday girl?” Haley asked
she looked at my hands then back at Haley
“I kinda just want to chill at home with Kai. Then we can do whatever you guys are planning” She said
Haley and Ryan nodded
“Mkay baby text me whenever you’re ready and I will come over and we can get ready together” Haley said rubbing Ryan’s hand
Val hugged Haley and kissed her cheek. Ryan looked over at me
“Stop showing Val your body sluttykins” He said
We all laughed and the bell rang. We said our goodbyes and before driving off we heard
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY BITCH!”
Val laughed and held my hand
“Why do you want to hang out with me?” I asked
She looked at me and smiled
“I can’t hang out with my fiancé?” She asked
I nodded
“Plus I want to be alone with you before everyone comes around” She said
I nodded and We drove home in a peaceful silence
“You look like your siblings” She said when we pulled into the garage
I laughed
“Genetics tend to do that to people with the same parent” I said
We walked into the house and heard yelling. Val took off her shoes and followed me into the living room
“You're so disgusting! How could you do that?” Olivia was yelling at Leona
Leona looked calm and not fazed by her sisters yelling
“It was before you guys were even together. What’s the big deal” Leona asked
Archie was looking at both of them trying to figure what was going on
“What the hell is going on? And why the fuck are you guys yelling I have neighbors” I said angrily
Olivia looked at me and rolled her eyes
“Little miss open her legs for anyone fucked my boyfriend for two weeks straight and didn’t think to tell me” Olivia said angrily
Leona looked angry now and stood up in Olivia’s face
“You have no room to fucking talk. You have fucked tons of guys that I was interested in and I had to heard about it from other people” Leona spat in her face
Archie finally got up and stood between them. Val had let go of my hand and left the room
“Can you two stop being so self centered for once in your lives. Its Valora’s birthday and I’m sure she doesn’t want to hear you two bickering over something that happened a long time ago. Chill the fuck out” Archie said to both of them
I nodded and walked out of the room. When I got upstairs Val was laying on the bed in her underwear
“Sorry Blue. Archie stopped them” I said
She nodded and was looking at the wall. I took off my shoes, belt and shirt
“What’s wrong?” I asked laying behind her
She turned over and kissed my nose
“I just miss my brother and sister is all” she said softly
I rubbed her face and pulled my phone out of my pocket. I dialed Valora’s parents number and the right person answered
“I have someone who wants to talk to you” I said softly into the phone
The small voice asked who I was. When I told her my name she perked up
“Here Blue” I gave Val the phone
When she heard the voice a huge smile went across her face
“Hi munchkin “ She said softly
While Val was talking I took my glasses off and moved to the middle of the bed. Val talked to her for a few minutes before Helen said she had to go to ballet
“I love you too baby. I will come visit you” She said
She closed the phone and handed it up to me. I was laying on my back when Val crawled over me
“Thank you” She said kissing me softly
I nodded and smiled at her. She laid down with her head on my chest
“I think I'm tired” She said
I pulled the blankets over us and rubbed her back. She was out quickly and I followed suit
