Nerds Need Love Too

A few weeks had gone by and Val and I had been packing up to move into our new house

"Kai can you help me with this please" she called from the bathroom

I walked into the bathroom and say Val pointing to two full boxes

"A few more of theese and we are done and we can go to our new home!" she said happily

Val and Hale had been setting up the new house ordering furniture and paints and I picked things out randomly when she asked

"Kai did you know that I love you?" Val said following behind me

I stopped and turned to look at her

"Yes i did know that. And what made you say that randomly?" I asked

she shrugged and kissed my cheek. I kept walking and put the boxes in the car

"Alright let's take theese and then come back" I said

I turned to find Val hunched over in the bushes. I walked over and held her hair back. She had the worst morning sickness and we both hated it

"Fuck!" she shouted wiping her mouth off

I ran in the house and grabbed a bottle of water and brought it to her

"Im sorry blue wish i could help" I said hugging her and kissing her forehead

She laid her head on my chest and took a deep breath. Val's pregnancy so far had been normal throwing up, eating lots, peeing and her moods were getting kinda wacky

"Let's go" she said pulling away from me

We got in the car and she leaned back rubbing her head. We drove in silence and found Haley was at the house already signing for somthing

"Kai you're TV is here!" Ryan yelled in the middle of the driveway

I laughed and shook my head at him. Val looked so pale and Ryan could see her already so when i parked he opened the door and carried her in the house

"Thank you " I shouted

I took a few boxes into the house and then went out for more. When i finished the TV was set up and Ryan had come downstairs

"She made me rub her feet till she fell asleep" he said sitting down on the couch

I sat next to him and rubbed my eyes

"We can finish packing later im tired" I said closing my eyes

I heard footsteps

"Is Val upstairs?" Haley asked

I nodded my head. She walked upstairs

"I swear everytime Val goes to sleep Hale wants to sleep too" Ryan said

I laughed and opened my eyes

"Let's see how this TV is" I said

~Val pov~

I woke up hearing someones breathing behind me. I turned and saw Haley

"Hale" I said softly

She didn't move an inch but she has always been a heavy sleeper. I stood up and went to leave the room. I could hear Ryan laughing and when i got downstairs Kai and Ryan were streched out on the couch

"Hello Blue" Kai said smiling over at me

I smiled and went to sit on his lap. He put his hands in my small bump

"Why are you awake?" he asked

I shrugged and snuggled closer to him. He pulled a blanket from somewhere and put it over me

"How do you know when im not in bed?" He asked

I yawned

"When you are in bed you are always close to me and you are always warm. I got cold and knew you weren't there" I said softly

He chuckled a bit and rubbed my stomach. I watched TV they were watching Hoarders

"Dude what do you need with all thoose empty cans?!" Ryan said

Kai laughed at him and they began a conversation about crazy people and the need to keep things. I felt myself drifting but then I felt a sharp pain on my side

"AH!" I shouted

Kai stopped talking and sat me up a bit

"Valora what is it?" he asked worriedly

I held my side

"I don't know. Take me to the hospital please" I said

He lifted me up and we left the house quickly. He put me in the passenger seat

"Hale and i will meet you there" Ryan yelled

Kai drove fast and held my hand

"Everything is going to be alright Val ok?" he said

I nodded and rubbed his hand. When we got to the ER he parked and Helped me out of the car again

"I need to call your mom" He said quickly

He sat me in a wheelchair and the nurses pushed me to a room. I could hear Kai shouting at them

"Im her fiance and her parents are on the way" he said angrily

The nurse helped me up on the bed and listened to my heartbeat. I felt the pain again and she lifted my shirt up

"Does it hurt here?" she asked

I nodded and bit my lip. She asked me a few questions and gave me and IV

"How far along are you?" she asked

I held my stomach

"10 weeks" I said softly

She nodded and brought in the ultrasound machine. She put the jelly on my stomach and moved the wand around on it. I could instantly see the baby

"Ok there is baby A and baby B" she said

I jumped

"You mean there is two!?" I asked

She nodded and pointed to them

"You might have just laid on somthing wrong they both look good. But we are going to keep you here over night" she said patting my head and wiping my stomach off

I nodded my head and leaned my head back

"Valora? Are you ok?" I heard Kai's worried voice

I nodded and he came over wiping my face

"What's wrong?" he asked

I looked down and bit my lip. He kissed my whole face till i stopped crying

"We are having twins" I said
