Boys
I woke up to a sharp pain going across my stomach
"Kai" I groaned
I saw a mess of blonde hair next to me and I felt another sharp pain. I moved the blankets off of me. I stood up and looked around for my phone
"Goddanm it" I said gripping a table
I heard a groan and shuffling
"Val?" Kai said sitting up
The pain was worse this time and I was on the floor trying to breath slow
"Holy shit. Val come on im taking you to the hospital" He said pulling me up
He grabbed his shorts and a hoodie. He was shuffling around me quickly then picked me up finally
"Kai im scared im only 6 months" I said softly
He kissed my head and slid my into the car
"It's ok Blue. Im sure one of the twins is just trying move and is moving against you wrong" He said rubbing my cheek
I nodded and he drove off quickly. He dialed someones number was speaking in a diffrent language then hung up
"Ryan is calling your parents" he said bitting his lip
I furrowed my brow
"If i called your parents they would ask a ton of questions that i can't answer and dont have time for so yeah" he said pulling up to the hospital quickly
He got out and helped me out. The pain hit again and i was hunched over holding my stomach
"Breathe Blue. Just relax and breathe" Kai said softly
I stood up half way and Kai hurried me into the ER
"My fiance is pregnant and she is getting sharp pains." He said hurried
I felt myself being sat down. I gripped Kai's hand tighter
"Don't leave" I begged
He looked down at me and nodded
"Promise I wont" he said kissing my head
They pushed me into a room and hooked my up to a bunch of things. Kai stood by the door looking very stressed
"Lets hear how the babies are doing" the nurse tried to say happily
She put this round thing against my belly and I heard rapid heartbeats. Kai heard that and came to my side quickly
"The babies are becoming stressed" she said
I felt my eyes well up with tears and all I could think about was if the babies were going to be ok.
Kai moved closer to me and held and I could feel a sob shaking my body
~Kai POV~
Thinking back on life before I would have never thought everything that has been happening in the past few months would be leading to this. I was in the hallway with Val's parents now
"Both of the babies are going into stress and they might be delivered early" the doctor said
I shook my head and gripped my hair
"She is only 6 months they aren't fully developed yet" I said
The doctor nodded
"We will do everything we can but if nothing works they will be here early" He said patting my shoulder
I huffed and walked back into the room with Val. She was on her side talking softly. I turned off the lights and got in bed behind her
"They are going to induce me aren't they" She said
I didn't answer she knew the answer already. I moved my hands down on my her belly
"Daddy and I are dying to see you both but not right now. You both need to be healthy as possible and coming right now that won't happen. Just please calm down" She said softly
I could feel both of them kicking against her. She laughed lightly
"I had a dream they were both boys. Dirty blonde hair. One had blue eyes and one had hazel eyes. Greyson and Haden." She said softly
She rolled on her back and looked up at me. The babies heartbeats were slowing down some but they were still up slightly
"They were perfect" She said softly
The nurse came back into the room blinding us with the light. She was pushing the sonogram machine
"Lets see the twins" she said smiling
I laid next to Val still as she squeezed the blue stuff on her belly. First we saw a foot then a face
"Aww dont kick your brother" I said
The nurse smiled and moved the wand all over. One of the babies was dropping already
"Thoose boys are ready to get out" The nurse said Val gasped
"Both boys?" she asked
The nurse moved the wand and nodded
"Yep. Two baby boys" she said
Val's face lit up and she clapped her hands. The nurse moved to one machine
"And thier heart beats are slowing. Guess they are getting tight in there. We are gonna keep you here over night to make sure" she said patting my hand
Val wiped the stuff off her belly and fixed the heart moniter on her belly
"Well now we know what to paint the baby room" I said
Haley and Ryan rushed in the room moments later
"Baby are you ok??" Haley asked
Her face looked red and puffy and Ryan's hair was all over. Val put her arms out to both of them
"Im fine. The babies are stressed out" she said softly
Haley wiped her face and kissed Val's belly. Ryan rubbed Haley's head
"Haley please don't cry cause then I will cry. And your nephews don't like when im sad" She said softly
Haley buried her face in her hands
"Nephews" she said
Val nodded and smiled at her. Haley sat at the foot of the bed and put her face against Val's belly
"You guys have to be safe. You can't come out yet" she said wiping her face
Ryan sat in a chair next to the bed. Haley kissed the spots where the babies kicked
"We saw them. They were kicking each other" I said
Ryan laughed
"Of course they were. Kai is crazy and you are crazy" He said
Valora laughed and shook her head at him. Haley moved off the bed and went to sit in Ryan's lap
"Nice cast Hale" I said
She smiled and waved it around
"I like it" She said
Val laughed and shook her head at her. We all sat around talking till the doctor walked in
"I need to chcek the babies fluids. So im going to sticking a needle into your uterus" he said
Ryan and Haley got up and left the room. I slid off the bed and Val moved to sit up
"Is it gonna hurt the babies?" She asked
The doctor shook his head. She nodded
"Give me a second" he said leaving the room
She let her head fall back and she took a deep breath. I held her hand
"Remember we want the boys to be in there as long as possible." I said
Val nodded and took another breath. the doctor came back in a few minutes later
"Ok look at daddy and it will only take a minute" The doctor said softly
Val looked over at me and I made a silly face at her
"Don't make me laugh stupid" she said
I nodded and poked her lip ring. She stuck her tounge out and I saw her glittery tounge ring
"Hahaha that one is shiny" I said
She shook her head then hissed in pain
"Don't look" the doctor said
Val closed her eyes and squeezed my hand. Then she opened her eyes and pushed out her bottom lip
"One of them just kicked me" she whined
A few seconds later the doctor pulled the needle out
"Good job mommy" He said wiping the spot
Val scotted back over and I laid next to her
"So Greyson and Haden?" I asked
She smiled and nodded
"Full names please" I said
She leaned back and thought about it
"Greyson Jackson Manchester. Haden Charles Manchester" she said smiling
"So you got your dad's name in there and my grandpa Charlie" I said
She nodded
"Switch the middle names and Im cool" I said
She patted her chin and nodded. I grabbed a pen and paper from the table next to the bed
"Greyson Charles Manchester. Haden Jackson Manchester" I said
Val nodded and took a deep breath
"Im tired and hungry" She said
I watched the skin on her stomach push out
"Ok ok daddy get us some food" Val said
I got in the elevator and went to the cafeteria. The food there alright but it was food. I ended up getting her apple juice, pizza, salad, chips and pudding. The woman at the register gave me a weird look
"My fiance is pregnant. She will eat all of this" I said
She laughed and nodded. I made my way quickly back upstairs to see Val and her Mother talking angrily
"Im not letting them induce me are you crazy!" Val screamed
Both Valoras and the babies heart rates when up. I put the food down and shook my head at them
"Hey none of this. If Val gets angry then we will really need to get them out. These are our children and we are doing all possible thing possible. Being induced is that last thing we need to do" I said calmly
Val's mother groaned and got up and left the room. Val took a few deep breaths and she hissed in pain
"Im sorry" She repeated to his belly
I brought over the food and rubbed across her belly. She ate all the food happily and chatted with me. After she finish eating the food she pulled me in bed next to her
"Nap time" she said softly
She snuggled up under my chin and put my hand on her belly
"Sleepy time boys" I said
She giggled and kissed my knuckles
"I love you Kai" she said softly
I smiled
"Love you too Val"
We were both out cold within a few minutes.
