Nerds Need Love Too

"Of all times for you to be awake you choose right now" I groaned down at Greyson

He is currently wide awake at 2am and keeping his brother up. They are both in thier swings looking up at the video of fishes I shot up on the wall

"Daddy needs sleep too" I groaned laying on the floor

The boys are now close to being two months old and I can tell already they are going to be a handful. After a few minutes I sat back up and took both boys out of the swing and laid them on the floor next to me

"You two need to sleep" I said looking at them both

I turned them to face each other and they both smiled at each other. I laughed and gave them both a pacifier

"Hello Daddy" I heard Val

I fixed my glasses and looked up at her. She laid down on the other side of the boys

"Having trouble dear?" she asked

I nodded and pointed to Greyson

"He woke Haden up and they won't go back to sleep" I said pouting

She giggled and moved over to the bottle warmer. She nodded her head towards the boys and left the room

"Let's follow Mommy" I said picking them both up

I walked down the hallway and saw Val in our bed. When I sat down she took Greyson out of my hands and rubbed her nose on his cheeks. She handed me a bottle and smiled

"Warm milk makes everyone sleepy" she said

I laid back and propped myself up on some pillows and Val gave me a look

"I gotta get comfy woman" I said making her smile

I sat Haden up on my stomach with my knees helping him sit up. I pulled his binky out which made him growl a bit

"Hey no growling at Daddy" I said poking his nose

He made a cooing noise at me and I gave him the bottle. I looked over at Greyson and he was drinking his bottle quickly and griping Val's hand almost to keep her hand in place

"Look" Val said nodding over at Haden

I watched as Haden's eyes would drop and pop back open. I laid him on my chest and kept the bottle in his mouth

"Now I can sleep" I said yawning

My lids dropped and I fell asleep to my son's heartbeat.

I felt little feet kicking on my side and a hand clutching me softly. I opened my eyes and looked into my son's face

"Hey buddy" I said softly rubbing his head

He was holding his head up to look at me. His eyes were searching my face and I smiled down at him, I looked over to my right and saw Val on her back and Greyson laying beside her fast asleep

"Let's let Mommy and bubby sleep" I said softly

I got up holding Haden to my chest and went into the bathroom

"We both need a bath buddy" I said going over and turning the shower on

I laid Haden down on the counter and pulled my clothes off quickly. I went over to Haden and pulled his onsie and diaper off quickly

"Here we go" I said rocking him a bit

The water was warm and inviting. I turned slightly to keep Haden out of the direct water stream. I rubbed so shampoo on Haden's head and he whined

"You have to wash your hair" I said rubbing his head lightly

When I washed it out he wrinkled his nose which made me laugh a bit. I washed myself as best I could around Haden and we got out. I wrapped him in his little robe and grabbed a towel for myself

"Time for some play clothes" I said to Haden who was looking at me

I grabbed some boxers and shorts out of the closet and went down to the nursery. I laid Haden on the changing table and gave him a binky. I put my clothes on and dried my hair off

"Daddy is done now your turn" I said taking Haden's robe off

I rubbed some lotion on his skin and put on his diaper before dusting him with powder. I found a onsie with a smiley face on it and picked Haden up to examine him

"Now time to go do some homework" I said rubbing his back

We walked downstairs and I went and got a bottle out of the kitchen for him. When it was done warming up I brought him to the living room and laid him on his play mat

"Eating and playing. You sir are living the life" I said proping his bottle to his mouth with a blanket

I grabbed my notebook and my textbook and started my work. Simple english paper and some math homework was a piece of cake, I looked over at Haden who was fast asleep with the bottle out of his mouth. I smiled and moved it away from his face

"Hey you" I heard Val's voice

I turned around and saw Valora who was holding a sleeping Greyson. I waved and she walked around to sit in front of me

"When I woke up you two weren't there" she said pouting

I smiled and leaned over to kissed her softly. She laid Greyson on the other play mat and sat on my lap

"We took a shower and danced" she said softly

I laughed and leaned back so my face was in her neck. Her hair smelled like bananas and strawberries

"We did the same besides the dancing. But he ate before though" I said

She turned so she was facing me on my lap. She smiled brightly and kissed my nose

"Greyson was cooing at me to wake me up" She said happily

I lifted my glasses and rubbed my eyes

"Haden was kicking me and gripping my shirt to wake me up" I said rubbing circles on her hip

She smiled softly and pulled all her hair up in a bun. When she met my eyes she turned her head

"What?" she asked

I smiled and her and shook my head

"Nothing" I said softly

She pulled my face up and gave me a look

"You're blushing. Tell me" she said poking my cheeks

I covered my face and buried my face in her neck

"You are just so perfect and i love you so much" I said muffled

She giggled and pushed me back

"Im not perfect. Im fat and I look a mess and my boobs are ginormous" She said

I laughed and threw my head back

"I see a mother and almost wife. No fat and no mess, but the boobs are great" I said touching one

She popped my hand and shook her finger at me. I fixed my glasses and kissed her neck

"You are perfect to me. So shut up and quit complaining" I growled

She hugged my face and was about to say somthing when our front door opened

"Auntie and Uncle are here!" Haley shouted

A second later both boys were screaming.
